BRIEF HISTORY
The IS0 Recommendation R 342, Worsted and Woollen Cards- Working Width, was drawn
up by Technical Committee ISO/TC 72, Textile Machinery and Accessories, the Secretariat of
which is held by the Association Suisse de Normalisation (SNV).
Work on this question by the Technical Committee began in 1955 and led, in 1960, to the
adoptic. of a Draft 1SO Recommenlztion.

HISTORIQUE
La Recommandation ISO/R 342, Cardes pour laine peignée et cardée - Largeur de travail,
a été élaborée par le Comité Technique ISO/TC 72, Matériel pour l’industrie textile, dont le
Secrétariat est assuré par l’Association Suisse de Normalisation (SNV).
Les travaux relatifs à cette question furent entrepris par le Comité Technique en 1955 et
aboutirent en 1960 à l’adoption d’un Projet de Recommandation ISO.
