Tanks for the transport of dangerous goods - Transport tank equipment for overfill prevention devices for static tanks

This European Standard specifies the minimum performance and construction requirements for overfill prevention controllers located on the tank vehicle.
This European Standard applies to overfill prevention controllers for liquid fuels, having a flash point up to but not exceeding 100 °C.
The requirements apply to overfill prevention controllers suitable for use at ambient temperatures in the range from  25 °C to +60 °C, and subject to normal operational pressure variations.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Mindestanforderungen an Leistung und Bauweise von an Tankfahrzeugen angebrachten Steuereinrichtungen für Überfüllsicherungen fest.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Steuereinrichtungen von Überfüllsicherungen für flüssige Brenn- und Kraftstoffe mit einem Flammpunkt bis einschließlich 100 °C.
Die Anforderungen gelten für Steuereinrichtungen von Überfüllsicherungen, die für die Verwendung innerhalb eines Umgebungstemperaturbereichs von −25 °C bis +60 °C und für die Einwirkung normaler Schwankungen des Betriebsdrucks geeignet sind.

La présente Norme européenne s'applique aux contrôleurs limiteurs de remplissage pour carburants pétroliers liquides ayant un point d'éclair inférieur ou égal à 100 °C.
Les prescriptions s'appliquent aux contrôleurs limiteurs de remplissage fonctionnant à des températures ambiantes comprises entre – 25 °C et + 60 °C et soumis à des variations de pression normales de fonctionnement.

EN 16657:2016+A1:2018 is a CEN European Standard that defines minimum performance and construction requirements for overfill prevention controllers located on tank vehicles used to deliver liquid fuels to static tanks. It applies to fuel products with a flash point up to (and not exceeding) 100 °C and to controllers intended to operate in ambient temperatures from −25 °C to +60 °C under normal operational pressure variations.
