Soft soldering fluxes - Test methods - Part 10: Flux efficacy test, solder spread method (ISO 9455-10:2012)

This part of ISO 9455 specifies a method for the determination of the efficacy of a soft soldering flux. The method is known as the solder spread method of filler metal and is applicable to all flux classes defined in ISO 9454-1.

Foreword
ISO (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies
(ISO member bodies). The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through ISO
technical committees. Each member body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been

1 Scope
This part of ISO 9455 specifies a method for the determination of the efficacy of a soft soldering flux. The method
