Soft soldering fluxes - Test methods - Part 11: Solubility of flux residues (ISO 9455-11:2017)

This document specifies a qualitative method for assessing the solubility of flux residues in a selected
solvent. The method is applicable to all fluxes of Type 1, as defined in ISO 9454-1.
NOTE This test gives no assurance that post-cleaning residues, which may be present in sufficiently small
amounts to pass the test, will not be detrimental to the soldered assembly in the long term.

Dieser Teil der ISO 9455 legt ein qualitatives Verfahren zur Prüfung der Löslichkeit von Flussmittelrückständen in einem ausgewählten Lösungsmittel fest. Dieses Verfahren ist anwendbar für alle Flussmittel des Typs 1 nach ISO 9454-1.
ANMERKUNG   Diese Prüfung gibt keine Zusicherung, dass das Nachreinigen der Rückstände, die in ausreichenden kleinen Mengen vorliegen können um die Prüfung zu bestehen, sich langfristig nicht nachteilig auf die gelöteten Teile auswirken.

Ta dokument določa kvalitativno metodo za ocenjevanje topnosti ostankov talila v izbranem topilu. Ta metoda se uporablja za vsa talila tipa 1 iz standarda ISO 9454-1.
OPOMBA: Ta preskus ne zagotavlja, da ostanki talila, ki so lahko po čiščenju prisotni v dovolj majhnih
količinah, da je preizkus uspešno opravljen, ne bodo dolgoročno škodovali spajkanemu sestavu.

This document (EN ISO 9455-11:2017) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 44 “Welding
and allied processes” in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 121 “Welding and allied
processes” the secretariat of which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by March 2018, and conflicting national standards shall
be withdrawn at the latest by March 2018.
