Ethanol as a blending component of petrol - Determination of appearance - Visual method

This European Standard specifies a procedure for the determination of appearance of ethanol by visual method. The method enables determination of the colour and/or clarity and/or limpidity (brightness) of ethanol.

Diese Europäische Norm legt das Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Aussehens durch visuelle Prüfung für
Ethanol fest. Dieses Verfahren ermöglicht die Bestimmung der Farbe und der Trübungsfreiheit für Ethanol.
ANMERKUNG Normen für Kraftstoff für Kraftfahrzeuge machen es erforderlich, dass ein Kraftstoff durchsichtig und
klar ist, d. h. dass keine Partikel enthalten sind bzw. er trübungsfrei ist. Für dieses Dokument wurden diese beiden
Anforderungen in der Anforderung Trübungsfreiheit vereint.

La présente Norme européenne prescrit une méthode visuelle de détermination de l‘aspect de l’éthanol.
La méthode permet de déterminer la couleur et la limpidité de l’éthanol.
NOTE Les normes de carburants pour automobiles exigent que le carburant soit clair et limpide, ce qui signifie
respectivement sans particules et sans trouble. Dans ce document, cette double exigence est spécifiée par la limpidité.
