Specifications for particular types of winding wires - Part 25: Polyester or polyesterimide overcoated with polyamide-imide enamelled round aluminium wire, class 200 (IEC 60317-25:2010)

This Part of IEC 60317 specifies the requirements of enamelled round aluminium winding wires of class 200 with a dual coating. The underlying coating is based on polyester or polyesterimide resin, which may be modified providing it retains the chemical identity of the original resin and meets all specified wire requirements. The superimposed coating is based on polyamide-imide resin. Class 200 is a thermal class that requires a minimum temperature index of 200 and a heat shock temperature of at least 220 °C. The temperature in degrees Celsius corresponding to the temperature index is not necessarily that at which it is recommended that the wire be operated and this will depend on many factors, including the type of equipment involved. The range of nominal conductor diameters covered by this standard is as follows: - Grade 1: 0,400 mm up to and including 3,150 mm; - Grade 2: 0,400 mm up to and including 5,000 mm. The nominal conductor diameters are specified in Clause 4 of IEC 60317-0-3.

La CEI 60317-25:2010 concerne les fils de bobinage de section circulaire en aluminium émaillé de classe 200 avec un double revêtement. La sous-couche est à base de résine polyester ou polyesterimide, qui peut être modifiée à condition qu'elle conserve l'identité chimique de la résine initiale et réponde à toutes les exigences du fil. La surcouche est à base de résine polyamide-imide. Les modifications principales par rapport à l'édition précédente sont: - Article 3: ajout de 3.3: Aspect; - Article 16: référence à l'essai de résistance aux réfrigérants de la CEI 60851-4; - Article 22: suppression de l'exigence de défaillance à haute température; - Article 23: ajout de l'exigence pour la détection des microfissures en immersion.

Ta del IEC 60317 določa zahteve za emajliran aluminijast okrogel vodnik razreda  200 z dvojnim premazom. Spodnji premaz je osnovan na poliestrski ali poliesterimidni smoli, ki se lahko spremeni, pod pogojem, da ohrani kemično identiteto originalne smole in izpolnjuje vse zahteve za vodnik.  Zgornji premaz je osnovan na poliamidimidni smoli. Razred 200 je toplotni razred, ki zahteva minimalni temperaturni indeks 200 in temperaturo toplotnega šoka vsaj 220 °C. Temperatura v stopinjah Celzija, ki ustreza temperaturnemu indeksu, ni nujno temperatura, priporočena za obratovanje vodnika, saj je to odvisno od številnih dejavnikov, vključno z vrsto vključene opreme. Razpon nominalnih premerov prevodnikov, ki jih zajema ta standard, je naslednji: - Stopnja 1: 0,400 mm do vključno 3,150 mm; - Stopnja 2: 0,400 mm do vključno 5,000 mm. Nominalne premere prevodnikov določa Klavzula 4 IEC 60317-0-3.

The text of document 55/1181/FDIS, future edition 3 of IEC 60317-25, prepared by IEC TC 55, Winding

wires, was submitted to the IEC-CENELEC parallel vote and was approved by CENELEC as EN 60317-5

on 2010-05-01.
This European Standard supersedes EN 60317-25:1996 + A1:1997 + A2:1998.
The main changes with respect to EN 60317-25:1996 are listed below:
– Clause 3: addition of 3.3: Appearance;

– Clause 16: reference to the test for resistance to refrigerants in IEC 60851-4;

– Clause 22: deletion of the high temperature failure requirement;
– Clause 23: addition of pin hole test requirement.

Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of

patent rights. CEN and CENELEC shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent

rights.
