This standard specifies the rules for the representation of preforms of composite materials as well as the information to be indicated in the technical drawings.
It is applicable to aerospace structures using preforms.
It shall be used together with EN 4408-1.

Diese Norm legt die Regeln für die Darstellung von Vorformen von Verbundwerkstoffen, sowie die Informationen, die auf den technischen Zeichnungen angegeben werden müssen, fest.
Sie kommt auf in der Luft- und Raumfahrtstrukturen, in denen Vorformen eingesetzt werden, zur Anwendung.
Sie muss zusammen mit EN 4408 001 verwendet werden.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the rules for the representation of preforms of composite materials as well as the
information to be indicated in the technical drawings.
It is applicable to aerospace structures using preforms.
It shall be used together with EN 4408-001.
