This document lays down the dimensions and specifies the characteristics of the constituent parts of hose connections for welding, cutting and allied processes, for example for pressure regulators according to EN ISO 2503 and blowpipes. The suitability of the hose connections mentioned below will be considered according to the applied pressure range. This document does not cover the design of the hose tail inserted into the hose. This is specified in EN 1256.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Maße und typische Merkmale der einzelnen Bestandteile von Schlauchanschlüssen für Schweißen, Schneiden und verwandte Prozesse fest, z. B. für Druckminderer nach EN ISO 2503 und Brenner. Die Eignung der im Folgenden aufgeführten Schlauchanschlüsse ist in Abhängigkeit von dem verwendeten Druckbereich zu bewerten. Diese Europäische Norm enthält keine Angaben über die Ausführung des Schlauchanschlussstückes für den Schlauch. Diese sind in der EN 1256 festgelegt.

Le présent document fixe les dimensions et spécifie les caractéristiques des éléments constituant les raccords pour tuyaux souples pour appareils de soudage, coupage et techniques connexes, par exemple pour les détendeurs conformément à l’EN ISO 2503 et les chalumeaux. La pertinence des raccords pour tuyaux souples mentionnés ci-après est considérée en fonction de la gamme de pression appliquée. La présente Norme européenne ne traite pas de la conception de la a douille porte-tuyau insérée dans le tuyau souple. Celle-ci est spécifiée dans l’EN 1256.

Primernost v nadaljevanju navedenih cevnih priključkov se obravnava glede na uporabljeno območje tlaka. Ta evropski standard ne zajema zasnove dela cevnega nastavka, vstavljenega v cev. Ta je opredeljena v standardu EN 1256.

allied processes”, the secretariat of which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by March 2019, and conflicting national standards shall
be withdrawn at the latest by March 2019.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN 560:2005.
