ISO 11680-1:2011 gives safety requirements and measures for their verification for the design and construction of portable, hand-held, pole-mounted powered pruners having an integral combustion engine as their power unit and using a drive shaft to transmit power to a cutting attachment consisting of a saw chain or a reciprocating or circular saw blade with a 205 mm maximum outside diameter. Methods for the elimination or reduction of hazards arising from the use of these machines and the type of information on safe working practices to be provided by the manufacturer are specified.
ISO 11680-1:2011 deals with all significant hazards, hazardous situations or hazardous events with the exception of electric shock from contact with overhead electric lines (apart from warnings and advice for inclusion in the instruction handbook), relevant to these machines when they are used as intended and under conditions of misuse which are reasonably foreseeable by the manufacturer.

Dieser Teil der ISO 11680 gibt sicherheitstechnische Anforderungen und Maßnahmen zur Feststellung deren
Übereinstimmung für die Gestaltung und Konstruktion von tragbaren, Hand gehaltenen Hochentastern mit
integriertem Verbrennungsmotor als Antrieb, die mit einer Antriebswelle zur Kraftübertragung auf die
Schneidgarnitur ausgestattet sind, welche aus einer Sägekette, einem sich hin und her bewegenden
Sägeblatt oder einem Kreissägeblatt mit einem maximalen Außendurchmesser von 205 mm besteht, an.
Methoden zur Vermeidung oder Verminderung der sich aus dem Gebrauch ergebenden Gefährdungen dieser
Maschinen sowie Informationen über sicheres Arbeiten, die vom Hersteller zur Verfügung zu stellen sind,
werden festgelegt.
Dieser Teil der ISO 11680 behandelt alle signifikanten Gefährdungen, Gefährdungssituationen oder
Gefährdungsereignisse für diese Maschinen, mit Ausnahme elektrischer Stöße durch oberirdische
Starkstromleitungen (abgesehen von Warnhinweisen und Hinweisen in der Betriebsanleitung), sofern sie zu
dem vorgesehenen Zweck und bei vernünftigerweise durch den Hersteller vorhersehbarem Missbrauch
eingesetzt werden.

Dieser Teil der ISO 11680 gilt für tragbare, Hand gehaltene, motorbetriebene Hochentaster, die nach dem
Veröffentlichungsdatum dieser Norm hergestellt worden sind.

L'ISO 11680-1:2011 spécifie les exigences de sécurité et les mesures pour leur vérification, pour la conception et la construction des perches élagueuses à moteur portatives, tenues à la main, équipées d'un moteur à combustion interne intégré comme source motrice et fonctionnant avec un arbre de transmission pour alimenter le dispositif de coupe consistant en une chaîne de scie, une lame alternative ou une lame de scie circulaire avec un diamètre extérieur maximal de 205 mm. Elle spécifie également des méthodes pour éliminer ou réduire les phénomènes dangereux inhérents à l'utilisation de ces machines, ainsi que le type d'informations sur les pratiques d'utilisation sûres à fournir par le fabricant.
L'ISO 11680-1:2011 traite de tous les phénomènes dangereux significatifs, situations dangereuses et événements dangereux pertinents pour ces machines lorsqu'elles sont utilisées normalement et dans des conditions de mauvais usage raisonnablement prévisibles, à l'exception du choc électrique dû au contact avec des lignes électriques aériennes (en dehors des avertissements et conseils à inclure dans la notice d'instructions).

Ta del standarda ISO 11680 določa varnostne zahteve in ukrepe za njihovo preverjanje za zasnovo in konstrukcijo prenosnih, ročnih motornih žag za obvejevanje z drogom, ki imajo motorje z notranjim izgorevanjem in uporabljajo pogonsko gred za prenos moči do nastavka za rezanje, ki ga sestavlja veriga žage ali premočrtno oziroma krožno rezilo žage z največjim zunanjim premerom 205 mm. Predpisane so metode za odpravljanje ali zmanjšanje tveganj, ki izhajajo iz uporabe teh strojev, in vrsta informacij o varnih delovnih praksah, ki jih mora zagotoviti proizvajalec. This document (EN ISO 11680-1:2011) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 23 "Tractors and
machinery for agriculture and forestry" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 144 “Tractors and
machinery for agriculture and forestry” the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by June 2012, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at
the latest by June 2012.
