Dieser Teil von ISO 14660 definiert eine Anzahl von erfaßten Geometrieelementes von Werkstücken. Er legt die "default" -Definitionen fest z.B. wenn keine anderen Definitionen auf der Zeichnung durch eine erweiterte Merkmalsangabe gegeben ist. Definitionen von erweiterten Merkmalsanweisungen für die bis jetzt erfaßten Geometrieelemente sind in dieser Internationalen Norm nicht enthalten

Foreword
ISO (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies (ISO
member bodies). The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through ISO technical
committees. Each member body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been established has
the right to be represented on that committee. International organizations, governmental and non-governmental, in
liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. ISO collaborates closely with the International Electrotechnical
Commission (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization.

Introduction
This part of ISO 14660 is a geometrical product specification (GPS) standard and is to be regarded as a general
GPS standard (see ISO/TR 14638). It influences chain link 3 of the Size, Form of line — Derived feature, Form of
surface — Derived feature, Orientation — Derived feature and Location — Derived feature chains of standards in
the general GPS matrix.
