Protective clothing for firefighters - Performance requirements for protective clothing for technical rescue
This European Standard specifies the minimum requirements for technical rescue clothing.
Technical rescues involves work associated with the environments, and conditions associated with operational scenarios such as but not limited to those found during road traffic collisions and when working in and around collapsed structures often for extended periods of time after natural disasters (earthquake, landslides, etc.) where protection against mechanical risks, limited heat and flame and conspicuity is needed.
NOTE This could involve heavy workloads, working in confined spaces and require conspicuity in public places.
This European Standard covers the general clothing design, the minimum performance levels of the material used, the methods of test to be used to determine these performance levels, and marking and information supplied by the manufacturer.
Unless combined with other specialized PPE and tested accordingly this standard is not applicable to clothing used to protect against risks encountered in fighting fires, wildland fires or rescue from fire, dealing with hazardous chemicals, working with chainsaws and water and rope rescue.
This European Standard does not cover protection for the head, hands and feet or protection against other hazards e.g. chemical, radiological and electrical hazards. These aspects are covered in other European Standards.
Schutzkleidung für Feuerwehrleute - Leistungsanforderungen für Schutzkleidung für die technische Rettung
Diese Europäische Norm legt die Mindestanforderungen an Kleidung für die technische Rettung fest.
Technische Rettung beinhaltet Arbeiten in den Umgebungen und unter den Bedingungen von Einsatzszenarien, die z. B. Straßenverkehrsunfälle oder Arbeiten in und in der Umgebung eingestürzter Bauwerke umfassen, jedoch nicht auf diese beschränkt sind. Arbeiten in und in der Umgebung eingestürzter Bauwerke nach Naturkatastrophen (Erdbeben, Erdrutsche usw.) dauern häufig über einen längeren Zeitraum an. Bei solchen Rettungseinsätzen ist Schutzkleidung erforderlich, die einerseits gegen mechanische Risiken sowie begrenzte Hitze- und Feuereinwirkung schützt und andererseits auffällig und gut erkennbar ist.
ANMERKUNG Zu den Arbeiten bei solchen Rettungseinsätzen zählen unter Umständen körperlich schwere Arbeiten sowie Arbeiten in engen Räumen. An öffentlichen Orten könnte eine deutliche Erkennbarkeit erforderlich sein.
Diese Europäische Norm behandelt die allgemeine Konstruktion der Kleidung, die Mindestleistungsstufen des verwendeten Materials, die zum Festlegen der Leistungsstufen einzusetzenden Prüfverfahren sowie die Kennzeichnungen und Informationen, die vom Hersteller bereitzustellen sind.
Diese Norm gilt nicht für Kleidung, die zum Schutz bei der Brandbekämpfung, der Brandbekämpfung im freien Gelände oder der Rettung von Personen aus dem Gefahrenbereich von Bränden, beim Umgang mit gefährlichen Chemikalien, bei Arbeiten mit Kettensägen sowie bei der Wasser- und Luftrettung angelegt wird, sofern diese Kleidung nicht mit zusätzlicher persönlicher Schutzausrüstung kombiniert und entsprechend geprüft wird.
Diese Europäische Norm behandelt nicht den Schutz von Kopf, Händen und Füßen sowie den Schutz vor anderen, wie z. B. chemischen, radiologischen und elektrischen, Gefährdungen. Diese Aspekte werden durch andere Europäische Normen behandelt.
Vêtements de protection pour les sapeurs-pompiers - Exigences de performances pour les vêtements de protection des interventions de secours techniques
La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences minimales applicables à l'habillement de secours techniques.
Les interventions de secours techniques concernent les scénarios d'intervention dans des environnements et des conditions tels que, sans toutefois s'y limiter, ceux rencontrés lors d'accidents de la circulation et dans le cadre des actions menées à l'intérieur et aux abords de structures effondrées, souvent pour des périodes prolongées, après des catastrophes naturelles (tremblements de terre, glissements de terrain, etc.), où la conspicuité ainsi que la protection contre les risques mécaniques et une chaleur et une flamme limitées sont nécessaires.
NOTE Ces interventions peuvent impliquer des charges de travail lourdes ainsi que des opérations en milieu confiné et nécessiter une conspicuité au sein d'espaces publics.
La présente Norme européenne traite de la conception générale de l'habillement, des niveaux de performance minimums du matériau utilisé, des méthodes d'essai servant à déterminer ces niveaux de performance, du marquage et de la notice d'information fournie par le fabricant.
À moins qu'ils ne soient associés à d'autres EPI spécialisés et soumis à essai en conséquence, la présente norme ne s'applique pas à l'habillement assurant une protection contre les risques rencontrés lors des interventions de lutte contre les incendies, des interventions de lutte contre les incendies de forêts, des interventions d'évacuation, des interventions liées à des produits chimiques dangereux, des interventions de secours mettant en oeuvre des scies à chaîne et des opérations impliquant de l'eau et des cordages.
La présente Norme européenne ne traite pas des protections de la tête, des mains et des pieds, ni des protections contre d'autres dangers (par exemple, chimiques, radiologiques et électriques). Ces aspects sont traités dans d'autres Normes européennes.

Ta evropski standard določa minimalne ravni zahtevanih lastnosti za varovalno oblačilo, ki jo nosijo gasilci med operacijami tehničnega reševanja. Ta evropski standard zajema splošno zasnovo oblačil, minimalne ravni lastnosti uporabljenih materialov, preskusne metode, ki jih je treba uporabljati za določanje teh ravni lastnosti, ter označevanje in informacije, ki jih predloži proizvajalec. Ravni zahtevanih lastnosti se lahko doseže z uporabo enega ali več oblačil. Ravni za toplotno in drugo zaščito, ki jih določa ta standard, morda ne zagotavljajo zadostne vrste in ravni zaščite, ki je potrebna za določena tveganja pri gašenju požarov v stavbah in drugih strukturah, reševanju pred požarom v stavbah in drugih strukturah, ravnanju z nevarnimi kemikalijami itd.
