Timber structures - Test methods - Cyclic testing of joints made with mechanical fasteners

This European Standard specifies a test method for determining the ductility, impairment of strength and energy dissipation properties of joints made with mechanical fasteners under cyclic loading.
NOTE   This standard is written, for uniformity, in terms of direct axial loads and their effects only. The standard is, however, also appropriate to the determination of the moment resisting properties of joints.

Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Prüfverfahren für die Bestimmungen der Duktilität, Festigkeitsminderung und der Energiedissipationseigenschaften für Anschlüsse mit Verbindungsmitteln bei zyklischer Belastung fest.
ANMERKUNG   In der vorliegenden Norm werden einheitlich nur direkte axiale Beanspruchungen und deren Wirkungen behandelt. Diese Norm kann jedoch auch für die Bestimmung momentaufnehmender Eigenschaften von Verbindungen angewendet werden.

La présente norme définit une procédure d'essai pour déterminer les propriétés de ductilité, d'affaiblissement de la résistance et de dissipation d'énergie des assemblages réalisés avec des organes mécaniques sous charge cyclique.
NOTE   Pour I'uniformité, cette norme est écrite en termes de charges axiales directes et de leurs effets uniquement. Cependant, la norme est également appropriée pour la détermination des propriétés du moment résistant assemblages.
