The standard specifies minimum requirements for the material, design,construc tion and workmanship, manufacturing processes and tests at manufacture of re fillable transportable seamless steel gas cylinders of water capacities from 0,5 L up to and including 150 L for compressed, liquefiable and dissolved gases.This standard is applicable to cylinders manufactured from stainless steel. Note: This standard is also suitable for the manufacture of cylinders of water capacity less than 0,5 l.

Diese Norm legt Mindestanforderungen bezüglich Werkstoff, der Gestaltung, Konstruktion und Verfahren, Herstellungsprozesse und Versuche bei der Herstellung von wiederbefüllbaren nahtlosen orstbeweglichen Gasflaschen aus Stahl mit einem Fassungsraum ab 0,5 l bis einschließlich 150 l für verdichtete, verflüssigte und unter Druck gelöste Gase fest. Diese Norm ist anwendbar auf Gasflaschen aus nichtrostendem Stahl mit einem maximalen Rm-Wert von weniger als 1100 MPa.

La présente norme spécifie les exigences minimales concernant le matériau, la conception, la construction et l'exécution, le mode de fabrication et les essais à la fabrication des bouteilles à gaz rechargeables et transportables, en acier sans soudure, d'une capacité en eau comprise entre 0.5 litre et 150 litres inclus pour gaz comprimés, liquéfiés ou dissous. La présente norme s'applique aux bouteilles fabriquées en acier inoxydable présentant une valeur Rm inférieure à 1100 MPa.
