Floating leisure articles for use on and in the water - Part 6: Additional specific safety requirements and test methods for Class D devices

This European Standard is applicable for CLASS D floating leisure articles for use on and in water according to EN 15649-1 regardless whether the buoyancy is achieved by inflation or inherent buoyant material.
This document (EN 15649-6) is applicable with EN 15649-1 and EN 15649-2.
NOTE 1   Typical products forming Class D:
-   inflatable climbing structures on the water;
-   bouncing platforms;
-   inflatable slides;
-   water trampolines;
-   teeter totters;
-   obstacle courses.
NOTE 2   Typical places for application:
-   pools;
-   lakes, ponds;
-   open sea;
-   sea shore (no offshore winds, no currents).

Diese Europäische Norm gilt für schwimmende Freizeitartikel für den Gebrauch auf und im Wasser der Klasse D nach EN 15649-1, unabhängig davon, ob der Auftrieb durch Aufblasen oder schwimmfähige Materialien erzielt wird.
Dieses Dokument (EN 15649-6) gilt im Zusammenhang mit EN 15649-1 und EN 15649-2.
ANMERKUNG 1 Typische Produkte der Klasse D:
- aufblasbare Kletterstrukturen auf dem Wasser;
- Hüpfburgen, -plattformen;
- aufblasbare Rutschen;
- Wassertrampoline;
- Wasserschaukeln;
- Hindernislaufbahnen.
ANMERKUNG 2 Typische Orte der Verwendung:
- Schwimmbecken;
- Seen, Teiche;
- offenes Meer;
- Küstenstrand (kein ablandiger Wind, keine Strömung).

La présente Norme européenne est applicable aux articles de loisirs flottants de Classe D à utiliser sur ou dans l'eau conformément à l’EN 15649-1, dont la flottabilité est assurée par gonflage ou par un matériau ayant une flottabilité propre.
Le présent document (EN 15649-6) est applicable conjointement à l’EN 15649-1 et à l’EN 15649-2.
NOTE 1   Produits typiques constituant la Classe D :
—   structures gonflables d'escalade à utiliser sur l'eau ;
—   plates-formes à rebond ;
—   toboggans gonflables ;
—   trampolines aquatiques ;
—   jeux de bascule ;
—   courses d'obstacles.
NOTE 2   Lieux d'utilisation typiques :
—   piscines ;
—   lacs, étangs ;
—   pleine mer ;
—   bord de mer (pas de vent de terre ni de courant).
