Steel for the reinforcement of concrete - Galvanized reinforcing steel - Part 2: Galvanized reinforcing steel products

This document specifies requirements for hot-dip galvanized reinforcing steel in the form of products according to EN 10080 and subjected to further processing, e.g. bent bars, stirrups, products straightened from coils, products cut from bars, welded structures (other than welded fabric or lattice girders according to EN 10348, Part 1) and any other components fabricated for use in the reinforcement of concrete.
This document does not apply to hot dip galvanized reinforcement for pre-stressing or components of these reinforcements.

Dieses Dokument legt Anforderungen an feuerverzinkten Betonstahl in Form von Erzeugnissen nach
EN 10080 die zur Weiterverarbeitung bestimmt sind, wie z. B. gebogene Stäbe, Bügel, gerichtete Erzeugnisse, abgelängte Stäbe, Schweißkonstruktionen (andere als geschweißte Matten und Gitterträger nach EN 10348, Teil 1) sowie weitere Erzeugnisse, die für die Bewehrung von Beton eingesetzt sind, fest.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt nicht für feuerverzinkte Bewehrungen zum Vorspannen oder Bestandteile für diese Bewehrungen.

Le présent document spécifie les exigences relatives aux aciers galvanisés pour béton armé sous la forme de produits selon la norme EN 10080 et soumis à une transformation ultérieure par exemple barres cintrées , étriers, produits redressés à partir de couronnes, produits découpés dans des barres, structures soudées (autres que les treillis soudés ou treillis raidisseurs selon le projet de norme EN 10348-1 ) et tous les autres composants fabriqués pour une utilisation dans l'armature du béton.
Le présent document ne s’applique pas aux armatures de précontrainte galvanisées ou aux composants de ces armatures.

Ta evropski standard se ne uporablja za vroče pocinkana jekla za armiranje za prednapetje ali komponente teh ojačitev.

EN 10348-2:2018 (E) 3 European foreword This document (EN 10348-2:2018) has been prepared by Technical Committee ECISS/TC 104 “Concrete reinforcing and prestressing steels”, the secretariat of which is held by DIN. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by June 2019 and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by June 2019. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights. CEN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
