The standard specifies minimum requirements for the material, design, construction and workmanship, manufacturing processes and tests at manufacture of refillable transportable seamless steel gas cylinders of water capacities from 0,5 l up to and including 150 l for compressed, liquefied and dissolved gases. This standard is applicable to cylinders manufactured from steel with an Rm value of less than 1100 MPa.

Diese Norm legt bestimmte Mindestanforderungen bezüglich Werkstoff, der Gestalttung, Konstruktion und Verfahren, Herstellungsprozesse und Versuche bei der Herstellung von wiederbefüllbaren nahtlosen ortsbeweglichen Gasflaschen aus Stahl mit einem Fassungsraum ab 0,5 l bis einschließlich 150 l für verdichtete, verflüssigte und unter Druck gelöste Gase fest. Diese Norm ist anwendbar auf Gasflaschen mit einem maximalen Rm-Wert weniger als 1100 MPa.

La présente norme définit les exigences minimales concernant le matériau, la conception, la construction et l'exécution, le mode de fabrication et les essais lors de la fabrication des bouteilles à gaz rechargeables et transportables, en acier sans soudure, d'une capacité en eau comprise entre 0,5l et 150l inclus, pour gaz comprimés, liquéfiés ou dissous. La présente norme s'applique aux bouteilles en acier présentant une résistance à la traction Rm inférieure à 1100 MPa.
