Respiratory protective devices - Nomenclature of components

This European Standard refers to respiratory protective devices. It contains a nomenclatura of the typical components of respiratory protective devices but it does not specify what or how many components are used and where they are located in the apparatus. The illustrations used are given as examples only for the identification of the different parts and terms for facilitating the application of the terms. The object of this European Standard is to achieve a harmonized nomenclatura for respiratory protective devices. The terms are given in the 3 official CEN languages.

Atemschutzgeräte - Benennungen von Einzelteilen

Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Atemschutzgeräte. Sie enthält eine Zusammenstellung von Benennungen für typische Einzelteile von Atemschutzgeräten, legt aber nicht fest, welche und wieviele der genannten Einzelteile und an welcher Stelle diese in einem Atemschutzgerät vorhanden sein müssen. Die in die Norm aufgenommenen Bilder sind als Beispiele zu verstehen; sie dienen zur Identifikation der Einzelteile und damit zur Vereinfachung der Anwendung dieser Benennungen.

Appareils de protection respiratoire - Nomenclature des composants

La présente Norme Européenne s'applique aux appareils de protection respiratoire. Elle fournit uniquement la nomenclature des composants caractéristiques, mais elle ne spécifie pas quels composants ni combien et où ils doivent être utilisés dans la conception d'un appareil de protection respiratoire. Les dessins figurant dans cette norme sont seulement des exemples destinés à l'identification des différents composants pour faciliter l'application des termes.
