This document specifies principles, requirements and guidelines for the quantification and reporting of the carbon footprint of a product (CFP), in a manner consistent with International Standards on life cycle assessment (LCA) (ISO 14040 and ISO 14044).
Requirements and guidelines for the quantification of a partial CFP are also specified.
This document is applicable to CFP studies, the results of which provide the basis for different applications (see Clause 4).
This document addresses only a single impact category: climate change. Carbon offsetting and communication of CFP or partial CFP information are outside the scope of this document.
This document does not assess any social or economic aspects or impacts, or any other environmental aspects and related impacts potentially arising from the life cycle of a product.

Le présent document spécifie les principes, les exigences et les lignes directrices relatifs à la quantification et à la déclaration de l'empreinte carbone d'un produit (ECP) d'une manière cohérente avec les Normes internationales sur l'analyse du cycle de vie (ACV) (ISO 14040 et ISO 14044).
Des exigences et des lignes directrices concernant la quantification d'une empreinte carbone partielle d'un produit (ECP partielle) sont également spécifiées.
Le présent document est applicable aux études d'ECP, dont les résultats servent de base à différentes applications (voir Article 4).
Le présent document concerne uniquement la catégorie d'impact du changement climatique. La compensation carbone et la communication des informations de l'ECP ou de l'ECP partielle ne relèvent pas du domaine d'application du présent document.

This document (EN ISO 14067:2018) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 207
"Environmental management" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/SS S26 “Environmental
management” the secretariat of which is held by CCMC.

identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by March 2019, and conflicting national standards shall
be withdrawn at the latest by March 2019.
