Domestic water kettles for use on top of stove, cooker or hob - Requirements and test methods

This European Standard specifies safety and performance characteristics of domestic water kettles for use on top of a stove, cooker or hop and applies to all kettles regardless of materials or method of manufacture. This standard does not apply to electric kettles.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen an Sicherheit und Funktion von Haushaltswasserkesseln fest, die auf einem Ofen, Herd oder einer Kochmulde verwendbar sind, ungeachtet des Werkstoffes oder der Herstellungsmethode.
Diese Norm ist nicht auf elektrische Wasserkessel anwendbar.

La présente Norme européenne détermine les prescriptions de sécurité et de performance des bouilloires à usage domestique pour cuisinières et plaques de cuisson et s'applique à toutes les bouilloires, indépendamment du matériau ou de la méthode de fabrication.
La présente norme ne s'applique pas aux bouilloires électriques.
