Fixed firefighting systems - Hose systems - Part 2: Hose systems with lay-flat hose

This European Standard specifies requirements and methods of test for the construction and performance of fire hose reel systems with lay-flat hose for installation in buildings, permanently connected to a water supply, for use by the occupants.
Furthermore, it provides also for requirements on evaluation of conformity and marking of these products.
Its requirements may apply in general for other applications, for example in marine applications or in aggressive environments, but additional requirements may be necessary in such cases.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren für Bauart und Ausführung von Wandhydranten mit Flachschlauch zum Einbau in Gebäuden fest, die fest mit der Wasserzufuhr verbunden und zum Gebrauch durch jede Person bestimmt sind. Weiterhin sind Anforderungen an die Bewertung der Konformität und an die Kennzeichnung dieser Produkte enthalten. Die Anforderungen dieser Norm dürfen in der Regel auch für andere Anwendungen zugrunde gelegt werden, zum Beispiel im Schiffbau oder bei aggressivem Umfeld, in diesen Fällen können jedoch zusätzliche Anforderungen notwendig sein.

La présente Norme européenne prescrit les exigences et méthodes d'essais de fabrication et de
performances des postes d'eau muraux équipés de tuyaux plats, destinés à être installés dans des bâtiments
raccordés en permanence à une alimentation en eau, pour être utilisés par les occupants.
Elle spécifie également des exigences applicables à l’évaluation de la conformité et au marquage de ces
produits.
Ses exigences peuvent concerner d'autres cas, par exemple les applications en atmosphères marines ou
corrosives ; dans ces cas, des exigences supplémentaires peuvent s’avérer nécessaires.

Ta evropski standard določa zahteve in preskusne metode za sestavo in lastnosti sistemov požarnih cevnih kolutov s plosko cevjo za namestitev v stavbah, ki so trajno priključeni na oskrbo z vodo in so namenjeni uporabnikom stavbe. Prav tako določa zahteve glede vrednotenja skladnosti in označevanja teh izdelkov. Zahteve standarda lahko na splošno veljajo tudi na drugih področjih, na primer v pomorstvu ali v agresivnih okoljih, vendar so v takšnih primerih morda potrebne dodatne zahteve.
