This standard applies to the international categories of vehicles M1, M2, N1 and N2 motor tricycles and quadricycles from the motorcyclestype. This standard does not apply to electric hybrid or partially electrally propelled road vehicles. NOTE: An electrally propelled road vehicle is also named an electric vehicle
