ISO 27830:2017 specifies the technical requirements of metallic and other inorganic coatings in order to develop consistent technical standards and establishes a standard format for designating the coatings. It applies to International Standards for electrodeposited, autocatalytic and vapour-deposited coatings.
Detailed technical requirements for individual coatings are not given in this document, but can be found in the International Standards listed in the Bibliography.
ISO 27830:2017 does not apply to thermally sprayed and porcelain enamel coatings.
Metallische und andere anorganische Überzüge - Anforderungen für die Bezeichnung von metallischen und anderen anorganischen Überzügen (ISO 27830:2017)
Diese Internationale Norm legt die technischen Anforderungen an metallische und andere anorganische Überzüge fest, um einheitliche technische Normen zu entwickeln und um einen genormten Aufbau für die Bezeichnung der Überzüge zu erstellen. Sie gilt für Internationale Normen für Überzüge, die durch elektrolytische (galvanische) und autokatalytische Metallabscheidung und Aufdampfverfahren hergestellt werden.
In dieser Internationalen Norm sind keine ausführlichen Anforderungen an einzelne Überzüge angegeben, diese können jedoch den Internationalen Normen entnommen werden, die in den Literaturhinweisen aufgelistet sind.
Diese internationale Norm gilt nicht für Überzüge, die durch thermisches Spritzen und Emaillieren hergestellt werden.
Diese Internationale Norm muss nicht in technischen Normen, Produktspezifikationen, Verträgen, Bestellungen oder technischen Zeichnungen angegeben werden, weil ein Berufen auf ein „Verfahren zur Spezifizierung“ in diesen Dokumenten vertraglich nicht bindend ist.
WARNUNG — Es besteht die Möglichkeit, dass diese Internationale Norm nicht mit den gesetzlichen Bestimmungen einiger Länder zum Gesundheits-, Sicherheits- und Umweltschutz übereinstimmt oder nicht mit Bestimmungen zur Verwendung von Substanzen und/oder Verfahren übereinstimmt, die gesundheitsschädlich sein können. Diese Internationale Norm enthält keine Ausführungen zu Gesundheitsgefährdungen, Sicherheits- oder Umweltaspekten und Gesetzgebungen, die mit ihrer Anwendung zusammenhängen. Es liegt in der Verantwortung der Hersteller, der Auftraggeber und/oder des Anwenders dieser Internationalen Norm, geeignete Maßnahmen zur Einhaltung von nationalen, regionalen und/oder internationalen Regeln und Bestimmungen hinsichtlich Arbeits-, Gesundheits- und Umweltschutz einzuführen.
Die Übereinstimmung mit dieser Internationalen Norm gewährt keine Immunität gegenüber gesetzlichen Verpflichtungen.
Revêtements métalliques et autres revêtements inorganiques - Exigences pour la désignation des revêtements métalliques et autres revêtements inorganiques (ISO 27830:2017)
ISO 27830:2017 spécifie les exigences techniques relatives aux revêtements métalliques et autres revêtements inorganiques afin d'élaborer des normes techniques cohérentes, et établit un format normalisé pour désigner les revêtements. Il s'applique aux Normes internationales relatives aux dépôts par voie électrolytique, autocatalytique et en phase vapeur.
Les exigences techniques détaillées s'appliquant à des revêtements spécifiques ne sont pas fournies dans le présent document, mais elles peuvent être trouvées dans les Normes internationales citées dans la Bibliographie.
ISO 27830:2017 ne s'applique pas aux revêtements déposés par projection thermique ou par émaillage.

Ta dokument določa tehnične zahteve za kovinske in druge neorganske prevleke za pripravo doslednih tehničnih standardov ter vzpostavlja standarden format za označevanje prevlek. Uporablja se za mednarodne standarde za elektrogalvanske in samokatalitične prevleke ter prevleke, nanesene s hlapi. Podrobne tehnične zahteve za posamezne prevleke niso podane v tem dokumentu, ampak so
podane v mednarodnih standardih, navedenih v bibliografiji.
Ta dokument se ne uporablja za vroče brizgane in keramične emajlirane prevleke.

This document (EN ISO 27830:2017) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 107 "Metallic
and other inorganic coatings" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 262 “Metallic and
other inorganic coatings, including for corrosion protection and corrosion testing of metals and alloys”
the secretariat of which is held by BSI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by June 2018, and conflicting national standards shall be
withdrawn at the latest by June 2018.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN ISO 27830:2013.
According to the CEN-CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of the
