Durability of wood and wood- based products - Definition of use classes - Part 1: General
This part of EN 335 defines five use classes which represent different service situations to which wood and wood-based products can be exposed. This part of EN 335 also indicates the biological agents relevant to each situation.
Annex A gives information on these biological agents.
Dauerhaftigkeit von Holz und Holzprodukten - Definition der Gebrauchsklassen - Teil 1: Allgemeines
Dieser Teil von EN 335 legt fünf Gebrauchsklassen fest, die die verschiedenen Gebrauchsbedingungen reprä-sentieren,
denen Holz und Holzprodukte ausgesetzt sein können. Dieser Teil gibt außerdem die für jede
Bedingung zutreffenden Organismen an.
Anhang A enthält Informationen über diese Organismen.

La présente partie de l’EN 335 définit cinq classes d’emploi qui correspondent aux différentes situations en
service auxquelles peuvent être exposés le bois et les produits à base de bois. Cette partie de l’EN 335
indique également les agents biologiques correspondant à chaque situation.
L’Annexe A donne des informations sur ces agents biologiques.

Ta del standarda EN 335 določa pet razredov uporabe, ki ustrezajo različnim razmeram, kjer se lahko uporabljajo les in lesni izdelki. V standardu so opisani tudi lesni škodljivci, ki najpogosteje ogrožajo les v posameznem razredu uporabe.
Informacije o najpomembnejših lesnih škodljivcih so zbrane v dodatku A.

This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by February 2007, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by February 2007. Splošno, 2006, ima status slovenskega standarda in je enakovreden evropskemu standardu EN 335-1
(en), Durability of wood and wood – Based products – Definition of use classes – Part 1: General,

NACIONALNI PREDGOVOR
Evropski standard EN 335-1:2006 je pripravil tehnični odbor Evropskega komiteja za standardizacijo
CEN/TC 38 Trajnost lesa in lesnih proizvodov, katerega tajništvo je v pristojnosti AFNOR.
Slovenski standard SIST EN 335-1 je prevod evropskega standarda EN 335-1:2006. V primeru spora
glede besedila slovenskega prevoda v tem standardu je odločilen izvirni evropski standard v
angleškem jeziku. Slovensko izdajo standarda je pripravil tehnični odbor SIST/TC ZAL Zaščita lesa.
ZVEZA Z NACIONALNIMI STANDARDI
V standardu SIST EN 335-1 pomeni sklicevanje na evropske in mednarodne standarde, ki je vključeno
v ta evropski standard, sklicevanje na enakovredne slovenske standarde, npr.:
EN 335-1 pomeni SIST EN 335-1.
OPOMBE
– Za lažje razumevanje sta navedeni definiciji odpornosti in trajnosti.
– Naravna odpornost je lastnost lesa, ki označuje dovzetnost lesa za lesne škodljivce. Odvisna
je od lesne vrste, beljave/jedrovine, kemijske in anatomske zgradbe.
– Trajnost lesa je čas, ko les ohrani večino svojih lastnosti. Odvisna je od odpornosti,
uporabljene zaščite in mesta uporabe.
– Povsod, kjer se v besedilu standarda uporablja izraz “evropski standard”, v
SIST EN 335-1:2006 to pomeni “slovenski standard”.
– Nacionalni uvod in nacionalni predgovor nista sestavni del standarda.
– Ta nacionalni dokument je enakovreden EN 335-1:2006 in je objavljen z dovoljenjem
