Diese Internationale Norm legt vier Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Vicat-Erweiterungstemperatur (VST) von Thermoplasten fest: - Methode A50 mit einer Kraft von 10 N und einer Heizrate von 50 °C/h; - Methode B50 mit einer Kraft von 50 N und einer Heizrate von 50 °C/h; - Methode A120 mit einer Kraft von 10 N und einer Heizrate von 120 °C/h; - Methode B120 mit einer Kraft von 50 N und einer Heizrate von 120 °C/h. Die festgelegten Verfahren sind nur auf Thermoplaste anwendbar, für welche sie eine Kennzahl der Temperatur liefern, bei der die Thermoplaste schnell zu erweichen beginnen.

Foreword
IS0 (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide
federation of national standards bodies (IS0 member bodies). The work
of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through IS0
technical committees. Each member body interested in a subject for
which a technical committee has been established has the right to be
represented on that committee. International organizations, governmental
