Fixed firefighting systems - Components for gas extinguishing systems - Part 1: Requirements and test methods for electrical automatic control and delay devices

This European standard specifies requirements and test methods for electrical control and delay devices for use in combination with automatic fire detection systems and CO2 extinguishing systems installed in buildings. EN  12094-1 is prepared in liaison with CEN/TC 72.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren für elektrische automatische Steuer- und Verzögerungseinrichtungen (EST) fest, die in automatischen Brandmeldeanlagen sowie in CO2-, Inertgas- und Halocarbongas-Feuerlöschanlagen in Gebäuden eingesetzt werden.
Diese Norm legt verbindliche Funktionen, die an allen EST vorzusehen sind, und wählbare Funktionen (Optionen mit Anforderungen), die vorgesehen werden dürfen, fest.
Zusätzliche Funktionen, die in Verbindung mit Brandbekämpfung stehen, können vorgesehen werden. Sie werden aber in dieser Norm nicht behandelt.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences et méthodes d'essais relatives aux dispositifs électriques automatiques de commande et de temporisation (d.e.c.t.) destinés à être utilisés en association avec des installations de détection et d'alarme incendie automatiques ainsi qu'aux installations d'extinction au CO2, au gaz inerte ou au gaz inhibiteur (halocarbone) qui équipent les bâtiments.
La présente Norme spécifie les fonctions obligatoires qui doivent être présentes sur tous les d.e.c.t. ainsi que les fonctions optionnelles (options avec exigences) qui peuvent être également présentes.
D'autres fonctions associées à des installations d'extinction peuvent être prévues, mais ne sont pas couvertes par la présente Norme.
