Flat pallets for materials handling - Principal dimensions

This European Standard specifies the principal dimensions and tolerances for new single-deck and double-deck non-reversible flat pallets of all entry types related to their transportation and handling by pallet trucks, fork lift trucks and other appropriate equipment.
NOTE   Depending on end use and the meeting of tests specified in ISO 8611, such pallets are intended to be stacked:
a) in store up to 4-high;
b) in transit up to 2-high.

Flachpaletten für die Handhabung von Gütern - Hauptmaße

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Hauptmaße und Toleranzen für neue Eindeck- und nicht umkehrbare Doppeldeck-Flachpaletten mit allen Arten von Einfahröffnungen, im Hinblick auf Transport und Handhabung durch Handhubwagen, Gabelstapler, Gabelhubwagen und andere geeignete Vorrichtungen fest.
ANMERKUNG   In Abhängigkeit vom Gebrauch und den in ISO 8611 festgelegten Prüfungen können solche Paletten:
a)   bei Lagerung bis zu vierfach,
b)   bei Transport bis zu zweifach gestapelt werden.

La présente norme européenne spécifie les dimensions et tolérances principales des palettes plates neuves non réversibles à un seul plancher ou à double plancher de tout type d'entrée, liées au transport et la manutention par transpalettes, chariots élévateurs ou tout autre équipement approprié. Ces palettes sont conçues de façon à pouvoir être utilisées: - dans des piles comprenant au maximum 4 palettes lors de l'entreposage, - dans des piles comprenant au maximum 2 palettes lors du transport, - sur une hauteur (en fonction de leur utilisation prévue et de leur conformité aux essais appropriés).
