This standard applies to pipes and fittings of longitudinally welded stainless steel pipes with spigot and socket for waste water systems. It specifies dimensions and tolerances for pipes, fittings, pipe connectors and seals of the System X and establishes a system of designations for the different pipe and fitting types that conform to the stated requirements. Note: System X is a system of pipes and fittings of longitudinally welded stainless steel pipes with two-step sockets.

Sie legt Maße und Grenzabmaße für Rohre, Formstücke, Rohrverbindungen und Dichtungen des Systems X fest und enthält zur einfachen Identifizierung jedes Bauteils ein System für die Bezeichnung der verschiedenen Arten von Rohren und Formstücken, die mit den getroffenen Anforderungen übereinstimmen. Anmerkung: System X ist ein System von Rohren und Formstücken aus längsnahtgeschweißtem, nichtrostendem Stahlrohr mit zweistufigen Muffen.
