EN 60255-26:2009

Measuring relays and protection equipment - Part 26: Electromagnetic compatibility requirements

IEC 60255-26:2008 is applicable to measuring relays and protection equipment for power system protection, including the control, monitoring and process interface equipment used with those systems; it specifies the essential requirements for electromagnetic compatibility for measuring relays and protection equipment intended to be used at industrial locations. The main difference of this new edition with respect to the previous one concerns the references to IEC 61000-4 and to CISPR 22.

La CEI 60255-26:2008 est applicable aux relais de mesure et dispositifs de protection pour la protection des réseaux d'énergie, y compris les fonctions de contrôle, surveillance et communication intégrées, utilisées dans ces réseaux; cette norme spécifie les exigences de compatibilité électromagnétique pour les relais de mesure et dispositifs de protection destinés à être utilisés dans des locaux industriels. La principale différence de cette nouvelle édition par rapport à la précédente est relative à la référence à la CEI 61000-4 et à la CISPR 22.

Ta del IEC 60255 velja za merilne releje in zaščitno opremo za zaščito napajalnih sistemov, vključno z opremo za nadzor, spremljanje in vmesniško procesno opremo, ki se uporablja s temi sistemi. Ta standard opredeljuje bistvene zahteve za elektromagnetno združljivost za merilne releje in zaščitno opremo, ki se uporabljajo na industrijskih lokacijah. Za merilne releje in zaščitno opremo, ki se uporabljajo na razdelilnih postajah in elektrarnah, so lahko zahtevane preskusne ravni višje imunosti. Foreword
The text of document 95/230/FDIS, future edition 2 of IEC 60255-26, prepared by IEC TC 95, Measuring
relays and protection equipment, was submitted to the IEC-CENELEC parallel vote and was approved by
CENELEC as EN 60255-26 on 2009-09-01.
This European Standard supersedes EN 60255-26:2005 and EN 50263:1999.
The main difference with respect to EN 60255-26:2005 concerns the reference to EN 61000-4 series and
to EN 55022.
The following dates were fixed:
– latest date by which the EN has to be implemented
at national level by publication of an identical
national standard or by endorsement (dop) 2010-06-01
– latest date by which the national standards conflicting
with the EN have to be withdrawn (dow) 2012-09-01
Annexes ZA and ZZ have been added by CENELEC.
