Low-voltage electrical installations - Part 7-708: Requirements for special installations or locations - Caravan parks, camping parks and similar locations

The particular requirements contained in this part of IEC 60364 apply only to circuits intended to supply leisure accommodation vehicles, tents or residential park homes in caravan parks, camping parks and similar locations. The particular requirements do not apply to the internal electrical installations of leisure accommodation vehicles, mobile or transportable units or residential park homes. For the remainder of the electrical installation of caravan parks, the general requirements of IEC 60364 together with the relevant particular requirements of Part 7 apply. This second edition of IEC 60364-7-708 cancels and replaces the first edition, published in 1988, as well as its amendment 1 (1993). It constitutes a technical revision. The main changes with respect to the previous edition concern: - requirements for the electrical installation of caravans and motor caravans are now covered by Part 721; - requirements of this part are aligned with those in other parts of IEC 60364; - one 30 mA RCD now protects only one socket-outlet.

Les exigences particulières de la présente partie de la CEI 60364 s'appliquent seulement aux circuits destinés à alimenter les véhicules de loisirs, les tentes ou les habitations de parc résidentiel dans les parcs de caravanes, dans les parcs de camping et aux emplacements analogues. Les exigences particulières ne s'appliquent pas aux installations électriques intérieures des véhicules de loisirs, des unités mobiles ou transportables ou aux habitations de parc résidentiel. Il convient que les installations électriques autres que celles concernant les circuits terminaux des parcs de caravanes, fassent l'objet des exigences générales de la CEI 60364, ainsi que des exigences particulières de la Partie 7. Cette deuxième édition de la CEI 60364-7-708 annule et remplace la première édition, parue en 1988, ainsi que l'amendement 1 (1983). Elle constitue une révision technique. Les modifications principales par rapport à l'édition précédente sont les suivantes : - des exigences pour l'installation électrique des caravanes et caravanes à moteur sont maintenant couvertes par la Partie 721; - des exigences dans la présente partie sont alignées sur celles des autres parties de la CEI 60364; - un DDR de 30 mA maintenant ne protège qu'une prise de courant.

Foreword
The text of document 64/1572/FDIS, future edition 2 of IEC 60364-7-708, prepared by IEC TC 64,
Electrical installations and protection against electric shock, was submitted to the IEC-CENELEC
parallel vote.
A draft amendment, prepared by SC 64A, Protection against electric shock, of Technical Committee
CENELEC TC 64, Electrical installations and protection against electric shock, was submitted to the
formal vote.
The combined texts were approved by CENELEC as HD 60364-7-708 on 2009-04-01.
This Harmonization Document supersedes HD 384.7.708 S2:2005.
The main changes with respect to HD 384.7.708 S2:2005 concern:
– requirements of this part are aligned with those in other parts of HD 60364;
– one 30 mA RCD now protects only one socket-outlet.
In this standard, the common modifications to the International Standard are indicated by a vertical
line in the left margin of the text.
The following dates were fixed:
– latest date by which the existence of the HD (doa) 2009-10-01
has to be announced at national level
– latest date by which the HD has to be implemented (dop) 2010-04-01
at national level by publication of a harmonized
national standard or by endorsement
– latest date by which the national standards conflicting (dow) 2012-04-01

Vorwort
Der Text von 64/1572/FDIS, zukünftige Ausgabe 2 von IEC 60364-7-708, ausgearbeitet von IEC TC 64
„Electrical installations and protection against electric shock“, wurde der IEC/CENELEC-Parallelumfrage
unterworfen.
Ein ergänzender Entwurf, ausgearbeitet durch SC 64A, „Schutz gegen elektrischen Schlag“, des Technischen
Komitees CENELEC/TC 64 „Elektrische Anlagen und Schutz gegen elektrischen Schlag“ wurde zur formellen
Abstimmung verteilt.
Die zusammengefassten Texte wurden von CENELEC am 2009-04-01 als HD 60364-7-708 an angenommen.
Dieses Harmonisierungsdokument ersetzt HD 384.7.708 S2:2005.
Die hauptsächlichen Änderungen in Bezug auf HD 384.7.708 S2:2005 betreffen:
– Anforderungen in diesem Teil sind an die anderen Teile des HD 60364 angepasst;
– eine Fehlerstrom-Schutzeinrichtung (RCD) mit 30 mA darf nur noch eine Steckdose schützen.
In dieser Norm sind die gemeinsamen Abänderungen zur internationalen Norm durch eine senkrechte Linie am
linken Rand des Textes gekennzeichnet.
Nachstehende Daten wurden festgelegt:
– spätestes Datum, zu dem das HD auf nationaler Ebene
