Measuring relays and protection equipment - Part 22-3: Electrical disturbance tests - Radiated electromagnetic field immunity

Specifies the general requirements for radiated electromagnetic field immunity tests for measuring relays and protection equipment for power system protection, including the control, monitoring and process interface equipment used with those systems. The tests are intended to confirm that the equipment under test will operate correctly when energised and subjected to an electromagnetic field. The main change with respect to the previous edition concerns the extension of the frequency range.

Spécifie les exigences générales pour les essais d'immunité aux champs électromagnétiques rayonnés des relais de mesure et des dispositifs de protection pour la protection des systèmes électriques, incluant les équipements de contrôle, de commande, et des interfaces procédés utilisés dans ces systèmes. Ces essais sont destines à confirmer que l'équipement en essai fonctionne correctement quand il est alimenté et soumis au champ d'une source électromagnétique. La modification principale par rapport à l'édition précédente est relative à l'extension de la bande de fréquences à tester.

Foreword
The text of document 95/209/FDIS, future edition 3 of IEC 60255-22-3, prepared by IEC TC 95,
Measuring relays and protection equipment, was submitted to the IEC-CENELEC parallel vote and was
approved by CENELEC as EN 60255-22-3 on 2008-08-01.
This European Standard supersedes EN 60255-22-3:2000.
The main change with respect to EN 60255-22-3:2000 concerns the extension of the frequency range to
be tested.
The following dates were fixed:
– latest date by which the EN has to be implemented
at national level by publication of an identical
national standard or by endorsement (dop) 2009-05-01
– latest date by which the national standards conflicting
with the EN have to be withdrawn (dow) 2011-08-01
Annex ZA has been added by CENELEC.
