Household and similar electric appliances - Methods for measuring the performance of tumble dryers intended for commercial use

This European Standard is applicable to tumble dryers intended to be used by trained users e.g. in hotels, hospitals, factories, in light industry and on farms. It covers tumble dryers declared for commercial use in public areas and operated by lay persons e.g. in launderettes, apartment houses and communal laundry rooms. This European Standard covers tumble dryers which use electricity, gas or steam as a heating source. The object is to state and define the principal performance characteristics of tumble dryers for commercial use of interest to users and to describe standard methods for measuring these characteristics. NOTE It does not apply to transfer tumble dryers or tumble dryers only possible to operate with automatic loading and unloading.

La présente Norme européenne est applicable aux sèche-linge à tambour destinés à être employés par des utilisateurs formés, par exemple, dans des hôtels, hôpitaux, usines, dans l'industrie légère et dans des exploitations agricoles. Elle couvre les sèche-linge à tambour déclarés pour un usage commercial dans des zones publiques et manipulés par des personnes non expertes, par exemple, dans des laveries automatiques, immeubles collectifs d'habitation et buanderies communales. La présente Norme européenne couvre les sèche-linge à tambour qui utilisent l'électricité, le gaz ou la vapeur comme source de chauffage. L'objet de la présente norme est d'énumérer et de définir les principales caractéristiques d'aptitude à la fonction des sèche-linge à tambour à usage commercial intéressant les consommateurs et de décrire des méthodes normalisées pour mesurer ces caractéristiques. NOTE La norme ne s'applique ni aux sèche-linge à tambour de transfert ni aux sèche-linge à tambour permettant uniquement le fonctionnement avec chargement et déchargement automatiques.

Ta evropski standard se uporablja za sušilne stroje, ki so namenjeni usposobljenim uporabnikom, npr. v hotelih, bolnišnicah, tovarnah, lahki industriji in na kmetijah. Obravnava sušilne stroje za komercialno uporabo na javnih mestih, ki jih upravljajo nestrokovne osebe, npr. v samopostrežnih pralnicah, stanovanjskih hišah in skupnih javnih pralnicah. Ta evropski standard obravnava sušilne stroje, ki kot vir segrevanja uporabljajo električno energijo, plin ali paro.
Namen tega standarda je navesti in opredeliti glavne lastnosti delovanja sušilnih strojev za negospodinjsko uporabo ter opisati standardne metode za merjenje teh lastnosti.
OPOMBA: Ta standard se ne uporablja za prenosne sušilne stroje ali sušilne stroje s samodejnim polnjenjem in praznjenjem.
