drawn up by Technical Committee ISO/TC 87, Cork, the Secretariat of which is held by the Repartiçio de
Normaiizaçzo (IGPAI).
Work on this question led to the adoption of Draft IS0 Recommendation No. 2066, which was circulated
to all the IS0 Member Bodies for enquiry in June 1970. It was approved, subject to a few modifications of an

editorial nature, by the foilowing Member Bodies :

France
South Africa, Rep. of
Greece
No Member Body opposed the approval of the Draft.
This Draft IS0 Recommendation was then submitted by correspondence to the IS0 Council, which decided
to accept it as an IS0 RECOMMENDATION.

DETERMINATION OF MOISTURE CONTENT
1. SCOPE
This IS0 Recommendation specifies the method of determination of moisture content of pure expanded
corkboard.
2. APPARATUS
2.1 Balance, accuracy 0.5 g, capacity 2 kg.
Electric oven, capable of maintaining a temperature of 103 f 2 OC.

2.3 Metal ruler, having 0.5 mm graduations.
2.4 Desiccator, containing an efficient desiccant.
3. SAMPLING
Operate as prescribed in the IS0 Recommendation for the corkboard being tested.

HISTORIQUE
La Recommandation ISO/R 2066, Agglomérés expansés purs de liege - Détermination de l’humidité, a été
élaborée par le Comité Technique ISO/TC 87, Liège, dont le Secrétariat est assuré par le Repartiçao de Normalizaçao
(IGPAI).
Les travaux relatifs à cette question aboutirent à l’adoption du Projet de Recommandation IS0 No 2066 qui
fut soumis, en juin 1970, à l’enquête de tous les Comités Membres de I’ISO. I1 fut approuvé, sous réserve de quelques

modifications d’ordre rédactionnel, par les Comités Membres suivants :

R.A.U.
Bulgarie Iran Royaume-Uni
Espagne Italie Tchécoslovaquie
France Portugal
Aucun Comité Membre ne se déclara opposé à l’approbation du Projet.
Ce Projet de Recommandation IS0 fut alors soumis par correspondance au Conseil de l’IS0, qui décida de
l’accepter comme RECOMMANDATION ISO.

1. OBJET
La présente Recommandation IS0 fixe la méthode de détermination de l’humidité des agglomérés expansés
purs de liège.
2. APPAREILLAGE
2.1 Balance, précise à 0,s g, capacité de 2 kg.
Etuve électrique, capable de maintenir une température de 103 I2 OC.
2.2
Règle métallique, graduée en 0,5 mm.
2.3
2.4 Dessiccateur, contenant un déshydratant efficace.
3. ÉCHANTILLONNAGE
Opérer conformément aux prescriptions de la Recommandation IS0 relative à l’aggloméré essayé.
