Ta del standarda EN 13232 zajema naslednje vsebine: vzpostavitev delovne terminologije za dilatacijske naprave, njihove sestavne dele in vrste, določitev minimalnih proizvodnih zahtev za dilatacijske naprave in njihove sestavne dele; oblikovanje pravil ravnanja v zvezi s pregledom in tolerancami; določitev metode, ki naj se uporabi za opredelitev in sledenje dilatacijskim napravam in njihovim delom.
