EN ISO 24801-3 specifies the competencies required of a scuba diver in order to obtain a scuba diver qualification from a training organization attesting that he/she has met or exceeded scuba diver level 3 (“Dive leader”), and specifies evaluation criteria for these competencies. It also specifies the conditions under which training is provided, in addition to the general requirements for recreational diving service provision in accordance with ISO 24803. This part of ISO 24801 applies to training and evaluation in recreational scuba diving.

Diese Internationale Norm legt die Kompetenzen fest, die ein Gerätetaucher erlangt haben muss, damit eine Ausbildungsorganisation die Qualifikation vergeben kann, die bestätigt, dass diese Person die Ausbildungsstufe 3 Tauchgruppenleiter erreicht oder übertroffen hat und sie legt Bewertungskriterien für diese Kompetenzen fest.
Außerdem legt diese Norm zusätzlich zu den allgemeinen, für Dienstleister des Freizeittauchens nach ISO 24803 geltenden Anforderungen Bedingungen fest, unter denen die Ausbildung zu erfolgen hat.
Diese Internationale Norm gilt für die Ausbildung und Bewertung von Freizeit-Gerätetauchern.

L'ISO 24801-3:2014 spécifie d'une part les compétences nécessaires pour qu'un plongeur en scaphandre autonome puisse être qualifié par un organisme de formation qui atteste qu'il maîtrise a minima les compétences s'appliquant aux plongeurs en scaphandre autonome de niveau 3 («Guide de palanquée») et, d'autre part, les critères d'évaluation de ces compétences.
Elle spécifie également les conditions dans lesquelles la formation est dispensée, en plus des exigences générales relatives aux prestataires de services de plongée de loisirs conformément à l'ISO 24803.
L'ISO 24801-3:2014 s'applique à la formation et à l'évaluation de la plongée subaquatique de loisirs.

EN ISO 24801-3 določa usposobljenost, ki jo mora doseči potapljač za pridobitev kvalifikacije za potapljača od ustanove za usposabljanje, ki navaja, da je izpolnil ali presegel tretjo stopnjo usposabljanja za potapljače („Vodja skupine potapljačev“), in določa kriterije za ocenjevanje teh sposobnosti. Prav tako določa pogoje, v katerih je izvedeno usposabljanje, poleg splošnih zahtev za izvajanje aktivnosti centrov za rekreacijsko potapljanje v skladu s standardom ISO 24803. Ta del standarda ISO 24801 velja za usposabljanje in ocenjevanje rekreacijskega potapljanja.

This document (EN ISO 24801-3:2014) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 228 “Tourism and
related services” in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 329 “Tourism services”, the secretariat of
which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by October 2014, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at
the latest by October 2014.
