This part of IEC 61000 for EMC immunity requirements applies to electrical and electronic apparatus intended for use in residential, commercial and light-industrial environments. Immunity requirements in the frequency range 0 Hz to 400 GHz are covered. No tests need to be performed at frequencies where no requirements are specified. This generic EMC immunity standard is applicable if no relevant dedicated product or product-family EMC immunity standard exists. This standard applies to apparatus intended to be directly connected to a low-voltage public mains network or connected to a dedicated DC source which is intended to interface between the apparatus and the low-voltage public mains network. This standard applies also to apparatus which is battery operated or is powered by a non-public, but non-industrial, lowvoltage power distribution system if this apparatus is intended to be used in the locations described below. The environments encompassed by this standard are residential, commercial and lightindustrial locations, both indoor and outdoor. The following list, although not comprehensive, gives an indication of locations which are included: - residential properties, for example houses, apartments; - retail outlets, for example shops, supermarkets; - business premises, for example offices, banks; - areas of public entertainment, for example cinemas, public bars, dance halls; - outdoor locations, for example petrol stations, car parks, amusement and sports centres; - light-industrial locations, for example workshops, laboratories, service centres. Locations which are characterised by being supplied directly at low voltage from the public mains network are considered to be residential, commercial or light-industrial. The object of this standard is to define the immunity test requirements for apparatus specified in the scope in relation to continuous and transient, conducted and radiated disturbances including electrostatic discharges. The immunity requirements have been selected to ensure an adequate level of immunity for apparatus at residential, commercial and light-industrial locations. The levels do not, however, cover extreme cases, which may occur at any location, but with an extremely low probability of occurrence. Not all disturbance phenomena have been included for testing purposes in this standard but only those considered as relevant for the equipment covered by this standard. These test requirements represent essential electromagnetic compatibility immunity requirements. Test requirements are specified for each port considered.

S'applique aux appareils électriques et électroniques destinés à être utilisés dans des environnements résidentiels, commerciaux et de l'industrie légère. Cette partie couvre les exigences d'immunité dans la gamme de fréquences de 0 Hz à 400 GHz. Il n'est pas nécessaire de réaliser des essais aux fréquences pour lesquelles aucune exigence n'est spécifiée. Cette norme générique d'immunité CEM s'applique en l'absence de norme d'immunité CEM applicable, spécifique à un produit ou à une famille de produits. Cette norme s'applique aux appareils destinés à être raccordés directement au réseau public d'alimentation basse tension ou à une source de courant continu spécifique destinée à servir d'interface entre l'appareil et le réseau public d'alimentation basse tension. Cette norme s'applique également aux appareils alimentés par piles ou batteries ou par un système de distribution basse tension non public, mais non industriel, lorsque cet appareil est destiné à être utilisé dans les emplacements décrits ci-dessous. Ta del IEC 61000 za zahteve EMC odpornosti se nanaša na električne in elektronske aparature, namenjene za uporabo v stanovanjskih, poslovnih in manj zahtevnih industrijskih okoljih. Zajete so zahteve odpornosti v frekvenčni lestvici 0 Hz do 400 GHz. Kjer ni določenih zahtev, ni treba izvajati nobenih preskušanj na frekvencah. Foreword
The text of the International Standard IEC 61000-6-1:2005, prepared by IEC TC 77, Electromagnetic
compatibility, was submitted to the formal vote and was approved by CENELEC as EN 61000-6-1 on
2006-12-01 without any modification.
This European Standard supersedes EN 61000-6-1:2001 + IS1:2005.
Specific technical changes have been introduced to Tables 1 to 4. The frequency range for tests
according to EN 61000-4-3 has been extended above 1 GHz according to technologies used in this
frequency area. The use of TEM waveguide testing according to EN 61000-4-20 has been introduced for
certain products and the testing requirements according to EN 61000-4-11 have been amended
significantly.
The following dates were fixed:
– latest date by which the EN has to be implemented
at national level by publication of an identical
national standard or by endorsement (dop) 2007-12-01
– latest date by which the national standards conflicting
with the EN have to be withdrawn (dow) 2009-12-01
This European Standard has been prepared under a mandate given to CENELEC by the European

EC Directives EMC (89/336/EEC), EMC (2004/108/EC) and RTTED (1999/5/EC). See Annex ZZ.

1) The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) is a worldwide organization for standardization comprising
all national electrotechnical committees (IEC National Committees). The object of IEC is to promote
international co-operation on all questions concerning standardization in the electrical and electronic fields. To
this end and in addition to other activities, IEC publishes International Standards, Technical Specifications,
Technical Reports, Publicly Available Specifications (PAS) and Guides (hereafter referred to as “IEC

Ta evropski standard je CENELEC sprejel 1. decembra 2006. Člani CENELEC morajo izpolnjevati
notranje predpise CEN/CENELEC, s katerimi so predpisani pogoji za privzem tega evropskega
standarda na nacionalno raven brez kakršnihkoli sprememb.

Najnovejši seznami teh nacionalnih standardov z njihovimi bibliografskimi podatki se na zahtevo lahko

Ta evropski standard obstaja v treh uradnih izdajah (angleški, francoski in nemški). Izdaje v drugih

Predgovor k evropskemu standardu

Besedilo mednarodnega standarda IEC 61000-6-1:2005, ki ga je pripravil tehnični odbor IEC/TC 77
Elektromagnetna združljivost, je CENELEC po formalnem glasovanju 1. decembra 2006 sprejel kot
EN 61000-6-1 brez kakršnihkoli sprememb.

Ta evropski standard nadomešča EN 61000-6-1:2001+IS1:2005.

Posebne tehnične spremembe so bile uvedene v preglednicah 1 do 4. Frekvenčno območje za
preskuse po EN 61000-4-3 je bilo razširjeno nad 1 GHz ustrezno s tehnologijami, ki so uporabljene v
tem frekvenčnem območju. Uporaba preskušanja v TEM-valovodu v skladu z EN 61000-4-20 je bila
uvedena za določene proizvode in znatno so bile dopolnjene zahteve za preskušanje v skladu z EN
61000-4-11.

Določena sta bila naslednja datuma:
– zadnji datum, do katerega mora EN dobiti status
nacionalnega standarda bodisi z objavo istovetnega besedila
ali z razglasitvijo (dop) 2007-12-01
– zadnji datum, ko je treba razveljaviti nacionalne standarde,
ki so z EN v nasprotju (dow) 2009-12-01
Ta evropski standard je bil pripravljen v okviru mandata, ki sta ga Evropska komisija in Evropsko
združenje za prosto trgovino dala CENELEC, in podpira bistvene zahteve direktiv ES EMC
(89/336/EGS), EMC (2004/108/ES) in RTTED (1999/5/ES). Glej dodatek ZZ.

Dodatka ZA in ZZ je dodal CENELEC.



Razglasitvena objava

Besedilo mednarodnega standarda IEC 61000-6-1:2005 je CENELEC odobril kot evropski standard
brez kakršnihkoli sprememb.

V uradni verziji je treba v Literaturi dodati opombo k naslednjima standardoma:

Vključitev bistvenih zahtev direktiv ES

Ta evropski standard je bil pripravljen v okviru mandata, ki sta ga Evropska komisija in Evropsko
združenje za prosto trgovino dala CENELEC, in v obsegu svojega področja uporabe vključuje bistvene
zahteve, kot so podane v členu 4(b) Direktive ES 89/336/EGS in v členu 1(b) Priloge I k Direktivi
2004/108/ES ter bistvene zahteve člena 3.1(b) (samo odpornost) Direktive ES 1999/5/ES.

Skladnost s tem standardom je eden od načinov doseganja skladnosti z določenimi bistvenimi
zahtevami zadevnih direktiv.

Predgovor k mednarodnemu standardu

1) IEC (Mednarodna elektrotehniška komisija) je svetovna organizacija za standardizacijo, ki združuje vse nacionalne
elektrotehnične komiteje (nacionalni komiteji IEC). Cilj IEC je pospeševati mednarodno sodelovanje v vseh vprašanjih
standardizacije s področja elektrotehnike in elektronike. V ta namen poleg drugih aktivnosti izdaja mednarodne standarde,
tehnične specifikacije, tehnična poročila, javnosti dostopne specifikacije (PAS) in vodila (v nadaljevanju: publikacije IEC). Za
njihovo pripravo so odgovorni tehnični odbori. Vsak nacionalni komite IEC, ki ga zanima obravnavana tema, lahko sodeluje
v tem pripravljalnem delu. Prav tako lahko v pripravi sodelujejo mednarodne organizacije ter vladne in nevladne ustanove, ki
so povezane z IEC. IEC deluje v tesni povezavi z mednarodno organizacijo za standardizacijo ISO skladno s pogoji,
določenimi v soglasju med obema organizacijama.
2) Uradne odločitve ali sporazumi IEC o tehničnih vprašanjih, pripravljeni v tehničnih odborih, v katerih so prisotni vsi
nacionalni komiteji, ki jih tema zanima, izražajo, kolikor je mogoče, mednarodno soglasje o obravnavani temi.
3) Publikacije IEC imajo obliko priporočil za njihovo uporabo na mednarodni ravni in jih kot takšne sprejmejo nacionalni
komiteji IEC. Čeprav IEC skuša na vse primerne načine zagotavljati točnost tehničnih vsebin v publikacijah IEC, IEC ne
more biti odgovoren za način, kako se določila uporabljajo, ter za morebitne napačne razlage končnih uporabnikov.
