Adhesives for paper and board, packaging and disposable sanitary products - Determination of low temperature flexibility or cold crack temperature

This European Standard specifies a method to determine whether a film of adhesive of given dimensions will craze, crack or fracture at a specified temperature.
Alternatively, the temperature at which the film will craze, crack or fracture can be determined.
The method described can be used as a quality control test, or to compare the flexibility of adhesives at low temperatures.

Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren fest, mit dem sich bestimmen lässt, ob eine Klebfolie mit vorgegebenen Maßen bei einer festgelegten Temperatur reißen, platzen oder brechen wird.
Andererseits lässt sich die Temperatur bestimmen, bei der die Klebfolie reißen, platzen oder brechen wird.
Das beschriebene Verfahren kann als Prüfung zur Qualitätskontrolle oder zum Vergleich der Elastizität von Klebstoffen bei tiefen Temperaturen eingesetzt werden.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie une méthode d'essai permettant de déterminer si un film adhésif de dimensions données se fendille, se fissure ou se rompt à une température spécifiée.
Cette méthode peut également servir à déterminer la température à laquelle le film se fendille, se fissure ou se rompt.
Cette méthode peut être appliquée soit dans le cadre d'un essai de contrôle de la qualité, soit pour comparer la flexibilité d'adhésifs à basse température.
