Devices to prevent pollution by backflow of potable water - Unrestricted air gap-Family A - Type A

This CEN standard specifies the characteristics of type AA air gaps for inlet or feed pipes. Air gaps that comply with the requirements of this standard are devices for protection of drinking water installations from pollution. In addition to factory assembled products this standard includes requirements for site constructed air gaps. This is a performance standard for "AA" air gaps. Materials of construction must be fit for the purpose and application to ensure compliance with this standard during normal working use.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen an freie Ausläufe Typ AA für Zuleitungsrohre fest. Freie Ausläufe, die Anforderungen dieser Norm erfüllen, sind Einrichtungen zum Schutz von Trinkwasser-Installationen gegen Verunreinigungen. Zusätzlich zu Anforderungen an fabrikmäßig montierte Bauteile enthält diese Norm Anforderungen an vor Ort eingebaute freie Ausläufe. Dies ist eine Gebrauchtauglichkeitsnorm für freie Ausläufe Typ AA.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les caractéristiques et les exigences des surverses totales Famille A Type A destinées a la protection contre la pollution des installations d'eau potable.
La présente norme s'applique aux surverses assemblées en usine et aux surverses réalisées sur site, et définit les caractéristiques physico-chimiques des matériaux de construction convenant a l'usage prévu afin d'assurer la conformité a la norme dans des conditions d'exploitation normales.
