ISO 20643:2005 provides the basis for the drafting of vibration test codes for hand-held and hand-guided power-driven machinery. It specifies the determination of hand-transmitted vibration emission in terms of frequency-weighted root-mean-square (r.m.s.) acceleration during type testing. For machines where vibration test codes do not exist, it can also be used for determination of emission values and contains sufficient guidance for designing an appropriate test. It is applicable to hand-held power tools (e.g. chipping hammers, sanders), hand-guided powered machines (e.g. lawn mowers, single-axle tractors, vibratory rollers), and other types of powered machines fitted with handles, guiding beams or similar means of control, of all power sources (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, internal combustion engine, etc.). It is not applicable to fixed machinery in which the vibration is transmitted to the hands of the user through the workpiece, nor to vibration transmitted from steering wheels or control levers of mobile machinery where the operator's position is on the machine.

Dieses Dokument stellt die Grundlage für die Erstellung von Schwingungsmessnormen für handgehaltene und
handgeführte kraftbetriebene Maschinen dar. Es legt die Ermittlung der Hand-Arm-Schwingungen, angegeben
als Effektivwert der frequenzbewerteten Beschleunigung, während der Typprüfung (Messung von Maschinenkennwerten)
fest. Es kann auch zur Ermittlung der Schwingungsemissionswerte (Schwingungskennwerte)
solcher Maschinen herangezogen werden, für die keine Schwingungsmessnormen vorliegen, und stellt eine
hinreichende Anleitung zur Gestaltung einer geeigneten Prüfung dar.
ANMERKUNG Schwingungsmessnormen, die auf diesem Dokument beruhen, sollten Verfahren zur Ermittlung von
Maschinenkennwerten festlegen, welche wiederholbare und vergleichbare Ergebnisse unter kontrollierten Bedingungen
liefern, die so weit wie möglich in Übereinstimmung mit den Schwingungswerten an den Kontaktflächen zwischen Hand
und Maschine sind, die unter realen Arbeitsbedingungen gemessen werden, und deren Messunsicherheit quantifiziert wird.
Dieses Dokument gilt für handgehaltene Maschinen (z. B. Meißelhammer, Schwingschleifer), handgeführte
Maschinen (z. B. Rasenmäher, Einachs-Traktor, Rüttelwalze) und andere Maschinenarten, die mit Griffen,
Holmen oder ähnlichen Lenkvorrichtungen versehen sind. Es gilt für motorbetriebene Maschinen, die sich aus
beliebiger Fremdenergie speisen (elektrisch, hydraulisch, pneumatisch, Verbrennungsmotor usw.).
Es gilt nicht für stationäre Maschinen, bei denen die Schwingungen über das Werkstück auf die Hände der
Bedienungsperson (des Beschäftigten) übertragen werden.
Dieses Dokument ist nicht auf die Schwingungen anwendbar, die von Lenkrädern oder Steuerhebeln
(Stellteilen) beweglicher Maschinen ausgehen, bei denen sich der Arbeitsplatz der Bedienungsperson auf der
Maschine befindet (siehe EN 1032).

L'ISO 20643:2005 fournit la base pour l'élaboration des codes d'essai de vibrations pour les machines à moteur tenues à la main et guidées à la main. Elle spécifie la détermination de l'émission vibratoire en terme de moyenne quadratique (r.m.s) d'accélération pondérée en fréquence pendant l'essai de type. Pour les machines où le code d'essai de vibrations n'existe pas, elle peut être utilisée également pour la détermination de valeurs d'émission et comporte suffisamment d'informations pour la mise en place d'un essai. Elle est applicable aux machines à moteur portatives (par exemple marteaux burineurs, ponceuses), aux machines guidées à la main (par exemple tondeuses à gazon, tracteurs à essieu unique, compacteurs vibrants) et aux autres types de machines à moteur munies de poignées, de manches de guidage ou d'autres moyens de commande similaires. Elle est applicable aux machines fonctionnant avec tout type de puissance non manuelle (électrique, hydraulique, pneumatique, moteur à combustion interne, etc. ). Elle ne s'applique pas aux machines fixes pour lesquelles les vibrations sont transmises aux mains de l'opérateur via la pièce ainsi qu'aux vibrations transmises par les volants de direction ou les leviers de commande des machines mobiles quand la position de l'opérateur est sur la machine.

Ta dokument podaja osnovo za pripravo osnutkov preskusnih številk vibracij za prenosne ročne in ročno vodene stroje s pogonsko enoto. Določa ugotavljanje oddajanja vibracij, ki se prenašajo na roke, glede na efektivno vrednost (r.m.s.) frekvenčno uravnoteženega pospeška med preskušanjem. Pri strojih, ki nimajo preskusnih številk vibracij, se lahko uporabi tudi za ugotavljanje količine oddajanja, pri čemer vsebuje tudi zadostna navodila za načrtovanje primernega preskusa. OPOMBA Preskusne številke vibracij, ki temeljijo na tem dokumentu, naj bi opredelile merilne postopke, ki zagotavljajo nadzorovane in ponovljive rezultate, ki so v največji meri skladne s količino vibracij, ki se izmeri na površinah, kjer se stikata roka in stroj, ter so pridobljene pod resničnimi delovnimi pogoji, pri čemer so za njih opredeljene spremenljivosti merjenja. Ta dokument se uporablja za prenosna ročna orodja (npr. razbijalna kladiva, brusilniki), ročno vodene stroje (npr. kosilnice, enoosni traktorji, vibracijske valjarje) in druge vrste strojev s pogonsko enoto, ki imajo nameščene ročaje, vodilne žarke ali podobne načine upravljanja. Uporablja se za stroje, ki uporabljajo vse vire energije (električne, hidravlične, pnevmatične, motorje z notranjim izgorevanjem idr.). Omejen je na prevodne vibracije, ki se izmerijo v treh pravokotnih smereh na vmesniku ročnega stroja. Pri uporabi tega dokumenta je potrebna posebna pazljivost pri strojih, ki proizvajajo enotne in ponovljive sunke s pogostostjo ponavljanja, ki je nižja od 5 Hz. The text of ISO 20643:2005 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 118 “Compressors,
pneumatic tools and pneumatic machines” of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has
been taken over as EN ISO 20643:2008 by Technical Committee CEN/TC 231 “Mechanical vibration and
shock” the secretariat of which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by December 2008, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn
at the latest by December 2008.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
