Mechanical dishwashing resistance of utensils - Part 1: Reference test method for domestic articles

This European Standard specifies a method for testing the resistance of domestic articles made from ceramic, glass, glass ceramic, vitreous enamel, metal and plastics under the combined chemical, thermal and mechanical stresses of mechanical dishwashing in domestic dishwashers.
It specifies a reference test method for domestic dishwashing only. It does not define the number of dishwashing cycles which any given product shall withstand.

Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Prüfung der Beständigkeit von Haushaltwaren aus Keramik,
Glas, Glaskeramik, Email, Metall und Kunststoffen gegenüber der gleichzeitigen chemischen, thermischen
und mechanischen Belastung fest, wie sie beim Spülen in Haushalts-Spülmaschinen gegeben ist.
Sie legt ein Referenz-Prüfverfahren nur für das Spülen in Haushaltsmaschinen fest. Die Anzahl an Spül-
zyklen, die ein beliebiges Produkt aushalten muss, wird nicht festgelegt.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie une méthode d�essai de la résistance mécanique des articles à
usage domestique en céramique, verre, vitrocéramique, émail vitrifié, métal et matière plastique, lorsqu�ils
sont soumis à une combinaison de contraintes chimiques, thermiques et mécaniques dans le cadre d�un
lavage au lave-vaisselle à usage domestique.
Il spécifie une méthode d�essai de référence portant uniquement sur le lavage en lave-vaisselle à usage
domestique. Il ne définit pas le nombre de cycles de lavage auquel doit résister un produit donné.
