ISO 28763:2008 specifies the minimum requirements and the functional characteristics of enamel coatings applied by any process, such as wet dipping, wet flow-coating, wet spraying, wet electrostatic spraying, wet electrodeposition or dry-powder electrostatic spraying, to profiled steel heat exchanger panels in regenerative heat exchangers, before and after packing in baskets.

Diese Internationale Norm legt die Mindestanforderungen und funktionellen Eigenschaften von Emailschichten
auf profilierten Stahlblechen für Wärmeaustauscher in regenerativen Wärmeaustauschern fest, vor und nach
dem Packen in Körben; sie gilt für Emailschichten, die nach einem beliebigen Emaillierverfahren hergestellt
sind, wie z. B. nach dem Tauchverfahren, Fluten, Spritzauftrag, elektrostatischen Spritzen, Elektrotauchemaillieren,
elektrostatischen Pulverauftrag.
Für sehr strenge Betriebsbedingungen oder zur Verlängerung der Lebensdauer dürfen zwischen dem Kunden
und dem Lieferer strengere Grenzen vereinbart werden.

L'ISO 28763:2008 spécifie les exigences minimales et les caractéristiques fonctionnelles des revêtements émaillés utilisés au cours de tout processus d'émaillage, tels que le trempage dans un liquide, l'aspersion humide, la pulvérisation humide, la pulvérisation électrostatique humide, l'électrodéposition humide ou la pulvérisation électrostatique sèche, sur des panneaux en acier profilé d'échangeurs thermiques remplaçables et démontables, avant et après assemblage dans les paniers.
Des limites inférieures peuvent faire l'objet d'un accord entre le client et le fournisseur dans le cas de conditions de service très difficiles ou dans le but de prolonger la durée de fonctionnement.

The text of ISO 28763:2008 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 107 “Metallic and other
inorganic coatings” of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been taken over as
EN ISO 28763:2011 by Technical Committee CEN/TC 262 “Metallic and other inorganic coatings” the
secretariat of which is held by BSI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by September 2011, and conflicting national standards shall be
withdrawn at the latest by September 2011.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN 14866:2005.
