Timber structures - Strength graded structural timber with rectangular cross section - Part 1: General requirements
This European Standard specifies the requirements for visual and machine graded structural timber with rectangular cross-sections shaped by sawing, planing or other methods, and having deviations from the target sizes corresponding to EN 336.
This European Standard covers structural rectangular timber, untreated or treated against biological attack.
This European Standard does not cover timber treated by fire retardant products.
This European Standard identifies as a minimum the characteristics for which limits shall be given in visual grading rules.
Finger jointed timber is not covered in this European Standard.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen an visuell und maschinell sortiertes Bauholz für tragende Zwecke mit rechteckigem Querschnitt fest, welches durch Sägen, Hobeln oder andere Produktionsverfahren hergestellt wurde und die zulässigen Maßabweichungen nach EN 336 einhält. Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Bauholz für tragende Zwecke mit rechteckigem Querschnitt, das entweder unbehandelt oder gegen biologischen Befall behandelt wurde. Bauholz, das mit Feuerschutzmitteln behandelt wurde, ist nicht Gegenstand dieser Europäischen Norm. Diese Europäische Norm legt diejenigen Merkmale, für die Grenzwerte in den visuellen Sortierregeln anzugeben sind, fest. Keilgezinktes Bauholz ist nicht Gegenstand dieser Europäischen Norm.

La présente Norme européenne prescrit les exigences applicables au bois de structure de sections rectangulaires
classé visuellement et par machine, profilé par sciage, rabotage ou d’autres méthodes, et dont les écarts par rapport
aux dimensions cibles correspondent à l’EN 336.
La présente Norme européenne couvre le bois de structure rectangulaire, non traité ou traité contre les
attaques biologiques.
La présente Norme européenne ne couvre pas le bois traité par des produits contre le feu.
La présente Norme européenne identifie les caractéristiques pour lesquelles, au minimum, doivent être établies des
limites dans les règles de classement visuel.
Le bois avec aboutages à entures multiples n’est pas couvert par la présente Norme européenne.

Ta evropski standard določa zahteve za vizualno in strojno razvrščanje konstrukcijskega lesa pravokotnega prečnega prereza, ki se oblikuje z žaganjem, glajenjem ali drugimi metodami in odstopa od ciljne velikosti v skladu z EN 336.
Ta evropski standard obsega pravokotni konstrukcijski les, neobdelan ali obdelan proti biološkim napadom. Ta evropski standard ne zajema lesa, obdelanega s proizvodi, ki vsebujejo sredstva proti požaru. Ta evropski standard določa značilnosti, za katere morajo biti mejne vrednosti podane v pravilih vizualnega razvrščanja kot minimum.

Structures en bois - Bois de structure à section rectangulaire classé pour sa résistance - Partie 1: Exigences générales Diese Europäische Norm wurde vom CEN am 26. August 2005 angenommen und schließt Änderung 1 ein, die am 20. Dezember 2010 vom CEN angenommen wurde.
Die CEN-Mitglieder sind gehalten, die CEN/CENELEC-Geschäftsordnung zu erfüllen, in der die Bedingungen festgelegt sind, unter denen dieser Europäischen Norm ohne jede Änderung der Status einer nationalen Norm zu geben ist. Auf dem letzten Stand befindliche Listen dieser nationalen Normen mit ihren bibliographischen Angaben sind beim Management-Zentrum des CEN-CENELEC oder bei jedem CEN-Mitglied auf Anfrage erhältlich.
Diese Europäische Norm besteht in drei offiziellen Fassungen (Deutsch, Englisch, Französisch).
