Steel wire for mechanical springs - Part 1: Patented cold drawn unalloyed spring steel wire
1.1 This European Standard applies to patented cold drawn unalloyed steel wire of circular cross-section for the manufacture of mechanical springs for static duty and dynamic duty applications.
1.2 In addition to this European Standard, the general technical delivery requirements of EN 10021 are applicable.

1.1 Diese Europäische Norm gilt für patentiert-gezogenen unlegierten Stahldraht mit rundem Querschnitt zur Herstellung von Federn für statische und dynamische Beanspruchungen.
1.2 Zusätzlich zu dieser Europäischen Norm gelten die allgemeinen technischen Lieferbedingungen nach EN 10021.

1.1 La présente partie de l’EN 10270 s’applique aux fils, en acier non allié, patentés et tréfilés à froid, de
section circulaire, utilisés pour la fabrication de ressorts mécaniques pour usages statiques et dynamiques.
1.2 Les conditions techniques générales de livraison de l'EN 10021 s'ajoutent aux dispositions de la
présente partie de l’EN 10270.
