Railway applications - Braking - Passenger coach test procedure

This document specifies test methods and acceptance criteria for a brake system used in passenger coaches including driving trailers for use in general operation.
This document is applicable to all new passenger coaches including driving trailers, which are designed for general operation in the European conventional rail system network in accordance with EN 14198.
This document does not cover the homologation tests of any brake component.

Dieses Dokument legt Prüfverfahren und Akzeptanzkriterien für ein Bremssystem von Reisezugwagen einschließlich Steuerwagen für den allgemeinen Betrieb fest.
Dieses Dokument ist für alle neuen Reisezugwagen einschließlich Steuerwagen anwendbar, die für den allgemeinen Betrieb im konventionellen europäischen Eisenbahnsystem in Übereinstimmung mit EN 14198 ausgelegt sind.

Le présent document spécifie les méthodes d'essai et les critères d'acceptation applicables du système de freinage des voitures voyageurs, y compris les voitures de réversibilité destinées à une exploitation conventionnelle.
Le présent document est applicable aux voitures voyageurs et voitures de réversibilité de construction neuve, conçues pour une exploitation générique sur le réseau ferroviaire européen conventionnel, conformément à l’EN 14198.
Le présent document ne couvre pas les essais d’homologation des composants de frein.
