Petroleum and natural gas industries - Wet thermal insulation coatings for pipelines, flow lines, equipment and subsea structures (ISO 12736:2014)
ISO 12736:2014 defines the minimum requirements for qualification, application, testing, handling, storage and transportation of new and existing wet thermal insulation systems for pipelines, flowlines, equipment and subsea structures in the petroleum and natural gas industries. The purpose of these systems is to provide external corrosion protection and thermal insulation.
ISO 12736:2014 is applicable to wet thermal insulation systems submerged in seawater.
ISO 12736:2014 is not applicable to thermal insulation in the annulus of a steel pipe-in-pipe system.

L'ISO 12736:2014 définit les exigences minimales relatives à la qualification, à l'application, à la gestion des essais, au stockage et au transport des systèmes d'isolation thermique en milieu humide, neufs et existants, pour canalisations, conduites d'écoulement, équipements et structures sous-marines dans les industries du pétrole et du gaz naturel. Ces systèmes ont pour but d'assurer une protection contre la corrosion externe et une isolation thermique.
L'ISO 12736:2014 s'applique aux systèmes d'isolation thermique en milieu humide immergés dans l'eau de mer.
L'ISO 12736:2014 ne s'applique pas à l'isolation thermique de l'espace annulaire des systèmes de canalisations à double enveloppe en acier.

Podvodne naftovode (ali dovodne cevi) in podvodne konstrukcije je običajno treba toplotno
izolirati, da se na primer prepreči nastajanje hidrata.
Take prevleke so na voljo na tržišču in spadajo v naslednje splošne družine:
– polipropilen
– poliuretan
– epoksi in fenol
– guma
V tem trenutku noben nacionalni ali mednarodni standard ne obravnava teh vrst prevlek.
To vprašanje obravnavajo le specifikacije družb. Te prevleke se vse
pogosteje uporabljajo pri dejavnostih na odprtem morju, zato menimo, da je zdaj čas za mednarodno standardizacijo tega vprašanja, da se celotni industriji zagotovi minimalna raven kakovosti, saj smo priča prezgodnjim okvaram takih prevlek.

This document (EN ISO 12736:2014) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 67 "Materials,
equipment and offshore structures for petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries" in collaboration
with Technical Committee CEN/TC 12 “Materials, equipment and offshore structures for petroleum,
petrochemical and natural gas industries” the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by June 2015, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at
the latest by June 2015.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
