Geosynthetics - Determination of burst strength

This European Standard specifies a method for the determination of bi-axial properties (burst strength) of geosynthetics.
This method applies to geotextiles, geosynthetic barriers and their related products. It applies to clay geosynthetic barriers only when tested in dry conditions.

Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung der biaxialen Eigenschaften (Berstdruckfestigkeit)
von Geokunststoffen fest.
Das vorliegende Verfahren gilt für Geotextilien, geosynthetische Dichtungsbahnen und deren zugehörige
Erzeugnisse. Die Norm gilt nur für geosynthetische Tondichtungsbahnen, wenn diese im trockenen Zustand
geprüft werden.

La présente Norme européenne prescrit une méthode de détermination des propriétés biaxiales (résistance à
l’éclatement) des géosynthétiques.
Cette méthode s’applique aux géotextiles et produits apparentés, aux géomembranes. . Elle ne s’applique aux
géosynthétiques bentonitiques que préalablement à l'hydratation de ces matériaux.

Ta evropski standard opredeljuje metodo za ugotavljanje dvoosnih lastnosti (razpočne trdnosti) geosintetike. Ta metoda velja za geotekstilije, geosintetične ovire in sorodne proizvode. Za glinene geosintetične ovire velja le, kadar se preskušajo v suhih razmerah.
