ISO 27654:2011 specifies the pressure test method to be applied to resistance-seam-welded specimens of different types of materials with single sheet thicknesses ranging from 0,3 mm to 3,2 mm.
The purpose of this pressure test is to determine the suitability of the material, welding equipment, welding parameters and of other factors on a tank, a vessel or a container for liquids or gases, which are manufactured by resistance seam welding.

Diese Internationale Norm legt die Druckprüfung von rollennahtgeschweißten Proben aus verschiedenen
Werkstoffen mit Einzelblechdicken im Bereich von 0,3 mm bis 3,2 mm fest.
Der Zweck dieser Druckprüfung ist das Bestimmen der Eignung des Werkstoffes, der Schweißeinrichtung, der
Schweißparameter und anderer Faktoren an einem Tank, einem Kessel oder einem Behälter für Flüssigkeiten
oder Gase, die durch Widerstandsrollennahtschweißen hergestellt werden.

L'ISO 17654:2011 spécifie la méthode d'essai sous pression à appliquer à des éprouvettes soudées par résistance à la molette constituées de différents types de matériaux, sous forme de tôles minces, d'épaisseur comprise entre 0,3 mm et 3,2 mm.
L'objet de cet essai sous pression est de déterminer la compatibilité du matériau, du matériel de soudage, des paramètres de soudage et d'autres facteurs vis-à-vis d'un réservoir, d'un récipient ou d'un conteneur destinés à recevoir des liquides ou des gaz, fabriqués par soudage par résistance à la molette.

Ta mednarodni standard določa metodo tlačnega preskusa, ki se uporablja na vzorcih uporovnih kolutnih zvarov raznovrstnih materialov z debelino ene plošče med 0,3 mm in 3,2 mm. Namen tega tlačnega preskusa je določiti ustreznost materiala, opreme za varjenje, parametrov varjenja in drugih dejavnikov na cisterni, posodi ali vsebniku za tekočine in pline, narejenih z uporovnim kolutnim varjenjem.

This document (EN ISO 17654:2011) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 44 “Welding and
allied processes” in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 121 “Welding” the secretariat of which is
held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by March 2012, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at
the latest by March 2012.
