This European Standard defines the requirements for the ordering, manufacture, testing, inspection and delivery of steel and heat resisting alloy bar and section. It shall be applied when referred to and in conjunction with the EN material standard unless otherwise specified on the drawing, order or inspection schedule.

wenn sie bei Verweisung auf oder in Verbindung mit der EN-Werkstoffnorm erwähnt wird, sofern in der
Zeichnung, Bestellung oder der Prüfanweisung nichts anderes angegeben ist.

Cette Norme Européenne définit les exigences relatives aux commandes, fabrication, essais, contrôles et livraison des barres et profilés en acier et alliages résistant à chaud. La présente norme est applicable lorsqu'elle est citée et conjointement avec la norme de matériaux EN sauf instruction contraire figurant sur le dessin, la commande ou la fiche d'essais.

EN 4700-002:2010 (E) 3 Foreword This document (EN 4700-002:2010) has been prepared by the Aerospace and Defence Industries Association of Europe - Standardization (ASD-STAN). After enquiries and votes carried out in accordance with the rules of this Association, this Standard has received the approval of the National Associations and the Official Services of the member countries of ASD, prior to its presentation to CEN. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by March 2011, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by March 2011. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
