EN 14183:2003

Step stools

This European Standard specifies the requirements for step stools, stairtype steps and dometype steps stools. This includes design characteristics, dimensions, materials, performance requirements, test methods and the declaration of suitability of use. The standard excludes ladders and stepladders as defined by EN131-1:1993.
The requirements are based upon the maximum total load of 150 kg.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen an Tritte fest. Dies umfasst Konstruktionsmerkmale, Maße, Werkstoffe, Anforderungen an die Gebrauchstauglichkeit, Prüfverfahren und Angaben zum Nutzungsbereich. Diese Norm gilt nicht für Leitern und Stufenleitern wie in EN 131-1:1993 definiert.
Die Anforderungen beziehen sich auf eine höchste zulässige Gesamtlast von 150 kg.
