EN ISO 15012-1:2004

Health and safety in welding and allied processes - Requirements testing and marking of equipment for air filtration - Part 1: Testing of the separation efficiency for welding fume (ISO 15012-1:2004)

ISO 15012-1:2004 deals with the significant hazards caused by the emission of welding fume particles from welding fume separation equipment operated according to its intended use and under the conditions foreseen by the manufacturer.
ISO 15012-1:2004 specifies safety requirements concerning the separation of welding fumes and describes a method for determining the particle separation efficiency of welding fume separation equipment.
ISO 15012-1:2004 does not deal with:
hazards caused by gases emitted by welding, cutting and allied processes or by the welding fume separation equipment itself; hazards caused by the noise and vibrations of the welding fume separation equipment; other fundamental aspects of safety technology, such as electrical, mechanical and pneumatical safety, maintenance, etc.

Diese Norm behandelt die signifikanten Gefährdungen, die durch partikelförmige Schweißrauchemissionen von Einrichtungen zum Abscheiden von Schweißrauch verursacht werden, wenn diese entsprechend ihrer bestimmungsgemäßen Verwendung und unter Bedingungen, wie sie der Hersteller vorgesehen hat, betrieben werden.

Le présent document traite des risques significatifs provoqués par les particules de fumées de soudage
émises par un équipement de filtration de fumées de soudage utilisé pour les applications auxquelles il est
destiné et dans les conditions prévues par le fabricant.
Le présent document spécifie les exigences de sécurité concernant la séparation des fumées de soudage et
décrit une méthode pour déterminer l�efficacité du matériel de séparation des particules des fumées de
soudage.
Le présent document ne traite pas :
¾ des risques créés par les gaz émis par le soudage, le coupage et les techniques connexes ou par
l�équipement de filtration de fumées de soudage lui-même ;
¾ des risques créés par le bruit et les vibrations de l�équipement de filtration de fumées de soudage ; ou
¾ des autres aspects fondamentaux technologiques de la sécurité, tels que la sécurité des systèmes
électriques, mécaniques et pneumatiques, la maintenance, etc.
Le présent document s�applique aux machines fabriquées après la date de publication du présent document.
