Adjustable beds for disabled persons - Requirements and test methods

This standard specifies essential requirements and related test methods for non-electrically and electrically operated adjustable beds, including detachable bed boards, bed lifts, side rails, grab handles and lifting poles intended to be used by disabled persons to alleviate or compensate for a disability or handicap. The standard also applies to stand up beds. The standard does not apply to lateral tilt beds.

Diese Norm legt grundlegende Anforderungen und dazugehörige Prüfverfahren für elektrisch und nicht elektrisch verstellbare Betten fest, einschließlich abnehmbare Bettböden, Bettlifter, Seitengitter, Haltegriffe und Aufrichter für den Gebrauch durch behinderte Menschen zur Linderung oder Kompensation einer Behinderung oder Unfähigkeit. Die Norm gilt auch für Stehbetten. Die Norm gilt nicht für Wendebetten.

Lits réglables pour les personnes handicapées - Exigences et méthodes d'essai

La présente norme spécifie les exigences essentielles et les méthodes d'essai correspondantes, pour les lits réglables, électriques et non électriques, y compris les sommiers démontables, soulèves-lits, barrières latérales, poignées et potences de levage destinés à être utilisés par les personnes handicapées pour soulager ou compenser une incapacité ou un handicap. Elle s'applique également aux lits verticalisateurs. Elle ne s'applique pas aux lits inclinables latéralement.
